SH 0:32 3 The three great verities of Spirit, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience, Spirit possessing all power, filling all space, constituting all Science, contradict 3 forever the belief that matter can be actual. SH 3:5 2 In proportion as matter loses to human sense all entity as man, in that proportion does man become its master. He enters into a diviner sense of the facts, and comprehends the theology of Jesus as demonstrated in healing the sick, raising the dead, and walking over the wave. All these deeds manifested Jesus' control over the belief that matter is substance, that it can be the arbiter of life or the constructor of any form of existence. Man s entity SH 2:28 32 Our Master taught no mere theory, doctrine, or belief. It was the divine Principle of all real being which he 30 taught and practised. His proof of Christianity was no form or system of religion and worship, but Christian Science, working out the harmony of Life and Love. SH 42:3 Whoever would demonstrate the healing of Christian Science must abide strictly by its rules, heed every statement, and advance from the rudiments laid down. There is nothing difficult nor toilsome in this task, when the way is pointed out; but self-denial, sincerity, Christianity, and 8 persistence alone win the prize, as they usually do in every department of life. 3/7

The Scriptures contain it. Modern evangel SH 3:4 From beginning to end, the Scriptures are full of accounts of the triumph of Spirit, Mind, over matter. Moses proved the power of Mind by what men called miracles; so did Joshua, Elijah, and Elisha. The Christian era was ushered in with signs and wonders. Marvels and reformations SH 38:7 8 Jesus established in the Christian era the precedent for all Christianity, theology, and healing. 8 SH 3:4 2nd He He overcame the world, the flesh, and all error, thus proving their nothingness. Mockery of truth SH 32:7 2 (to st.), 7 2 Because you cannot walk on the water and raise the dead, you have no right to question the great might of divine Science in these directions. Be thankful that Jesus, who was the true demonstrator of Science, did these things, and left his example for us. Imitation of Jesus 8 To be discouraged, is to resemble a pupil in addition, who attempts to solve a problem of Euclid, and denies the rule of the problem because he fails in his first effort. SH 7:22 2 24 It is not wise to take a halting and half-way position or to expect to work equally with Spirit and matter, Truth and error.
