What A Friend We Have In Jesus Psalm 23 A Celebration of the Life of What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! Invocation Scripture Reading Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 John 11:25,26, Matthew, 11:28,30, Revelation 21:1-4 Words of Comfort & Message Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged Can we find a friend so faithful, Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; What A Friend We Have In Jesus Lord s Prayer Benediction Congregational Congregational Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In His arms He ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there. The family thanks the many friends and relatives who have offered their love and support.

The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
