What A Friend We Have In Jesus Psalm 23 A Celebration of the Life of What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! We should never be discouraged Can we find a friend so faithful, Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; What A Friend We Have In Jesus Lord s Prayer Benediction Congregational Congregational Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In His arms He ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there. The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
of Siloam, Georgia, died on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the age of 77. Sara was born in the Centennial Community on January 9, 1937 the daughter of the late Summie Clyde Martin and Nettie Louise Edwards Martin. She attended school in Siloam and graduated from Greensboro High School in 1955. She married Alexander Carter Simpson on October 2, 1955. For a while she worked as a substitute teacher for Greensboro High School, but most of her life she was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her family by sewing, cooking, canning and especially spoiling the grandchildren. Sara was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, Alexander Carter Simpson of Siloam. GA, she is survived by four sons, Michael Alexander Simpson, Joseph Louis Simpson, James Martin Simpson, and Richard Dean Simpson all of Siloam; grandchildren, Jeremy Michael Simpson, Amanda Leann Simpson, Jennifer Lynn Simpson, and Wendy Dianne Simpson; great grandchildren, Joseph Ryder Meadows, Haley Nicole Meadows and Macy Grace Nichols; many other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2999 Bethany Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with officiating. Serving as pallbearers are David Simpson, Jeremy Simpson, Jimmy Walker, Jason Buice, Kory Buice, and William Buice. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Callaway Funeral Home. Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N.
