Alumni News Congratulations to our 2016 alum, Matt Crank. On Feb. 2, the St. Thomas Aquinas Show Choirs participated in the Smith -Cotton Show Me Classic in Sedalia, MO. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIP DISTRICT WINNERS The Knights of Columbus Local Council is proud to announce that Holy Spirit competitors won in two age categories at the District Free Throw Championship held at Holy Trinity School Gymnasium on Sunday, February 10th. Holy Spirit had two girls claim district medals. These District Champions will advance to the Regional competition on Sunday, February 17th in Holton, Kansas. Congratulations go out to Cate Catano (age 9) and Kristina Erskine (age 12) medal winners in the girls division. All participants did a great job, and good luck to the winners in the Regional competition. Regional Champions will advance to the State Championship in Salina, Kansas on March 3, 2019.
Congratulations to Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Mendoza! Joshua M., 5B, nominated them for Teacher of the Month at his pediatrician s office, Johnson County Pediatrics. The drawing asked for nominations of teachers that go above and beyond in their teaching. Joshua nominated the 5th grade team for not only how they make learning fun and interesting but also because they really care and believe in him. Holy Spirit is taking a group of teens to the Junior High Youth Rally at Prairie Star Ranch on Sunday, February 24th. The day includes passionate talks about living one's Catholic Faith, Adoration & Mass with Archbishop, live Catholic art by Mike Debus and live music by the Mikey Needleman Band.
