A word from the President What a great last month. We have had many opportunities to get on the bikes (except on Mondays). The weather has been so good for riding as long as it wasn t on Monday. I don t know what it is but it seems like every Monday it rains or storms. We did get to go to Columbia and enjoy Bikes and Burgers and even had one fellow asking about CMA. God blessed us with a great Bible Study this month also. As we work our way through the book of Revelation and study His Word, God always seems to show us ways that we can be more effective in spreading it, whether it is through opportunities to speak to people that we meet as we ride or whether it is simply by the example that we live before those around us. God can and will use us if we will just be willing to let Him. As summer is fast approaching we need to make sure that we are ready to meet the needs of those we will have opportunity to witness to. There are several things that you need to do to be ready for God to use you. First you need to be willing to be used by God in sharing the Gospel. That means that you know His will for your life and are constantly seeking His leadership as you serve. To do that you must be prayed up (daily prayer insures that you know and can do His will), studied up (how can you share His word if you don t know it), and filled up (you must allow God to fill you with His spirit). Then and only then can you be the effective tool that He desires to use. The second thing that you need to be ready for God to use you is to have the equipment that you need. That means that you have in your bike an assortment of tracks and a Bible, as well as some bike blessing materials. If you don t have a track bag (Zip Loc - we gave some out last year) or need to restock your bag let Jean know at the meeting on Monday. I will remind her to bring the stuff for those. Remember, as you ride, wear your colors and expect God to use you. Expect Him to give you opportunities to share His love and grace with others. Expect people to talk to you about your bike and look for opportunities to use that to share the Gospel. I have seen it many times when God uses the bike as an opener to lead into sharing His word. So be ready and watch for those opportunities. There will be many opportunities to serve in the coming months. Check the website and online calendar (both URLs are listed in the newsletter) for times and places that God wants you to serve. Mark your calendar and make plans to follow His leadership. It s All About JESUS! David Smith, President # # # # # # # Chaplain s Corner The word all, if I counted right, is used nine times in Psalm 103. 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. 19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. 21 Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22 Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul. There is no need to say any more. He is our ALL in ALL. Jesus, Lamb of God. Worthy is Your name. It s all about Jesus! Norma Sharp, Chaplain

Road Captain Report National website: www.cmausa.org Good weather has become the rule rather than the exception and riding opportunities are almost endless. Although rain and storms have stopped us from having Bikes & Burgers a couple of times, we will try again on Monday, the 16 th. That will be at Sonic in Kingsville, so try to make the ride over there. David & Jean, Norma & Bill, James and I all rode last Saturday in the Relay for Life Ride in Jena. It was a good ride and for a good cause. The rain held off and the weather was cool, but not too cool. After the ride we enjoyed hamburgers & door prizes. Looking forward to some good riding be safe! The amazing thing in the story about the Feeding of the Five Thousand is how the miracle was done. God could have done it any way He wanted. It could have rained bread from heaven. But He did it through natural means. The supernatural worked through the natural. Jesus told the disciples to have the multitude break into groups of 50 and 100. Then the Bible tells us, And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all (Mark 6:41). The disciples kept distributing the food, and it multiplied as they gave it out. Jesus said, Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you (Luke 6:38). God will bless generosity. Proverbs 11:25 says, The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself. As we give, God will bless us. As we distribute, God will give us more. Matthew 14:20 offers this detail about the Feeding of the Five Thousand: So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Jesus gave them more than they needed. And this reminds us that we serve a generous God. Are you willing to pass on what God has given you? Or, are you trying to hold on to it all? As the disciples distributed the food that God had multiplied, everyone was blessed. Everyone had their part. God gives us gifts. We need to use them for His glory. http://www.christianity.com/devotionals/harvest-daily-greglaurie/11649913/
