Worship Leaders who can lead children through music in a classroom of 20 40 children and/or in a large elementary group with between 100-150 children. Classroom Helpers to guide a group of pre-school and elementary children in biblical training through conversations and activities. Joyful Greeters to meet and greet families and help to get children checked in to their classroom. Special Needs Buddies to provided 1:1 assistance in a classroom setting for a child who finds the group atmosphere challenging. Buddies are a 1:1 assistant in a group atmosphere. Nursery Ministry assist teachers with the care of children ages 0-3 in a safe loving atmosphere AWANA leaders/listeners that encourage children by listening (to verses) and leading them through a fun club night Wednesdays only, 6 8 p.m. (Sept/May) MISSIONS BORDER MINISTRY (mostly Mexico) Eager Servants to prepare and care for Gardens that provide Vegetables for an Orphanage and Bible Institute. Skilled and Willing Servants for Construction, Maintenance, and Repairs Outgoing Friendly Servants to Invite and Evangelize in Neighborhoods (we translate and train) Enthusiastic and Loving Servants for children s programs, stories, games Dedicated Servant to help maintain contact with Border Ministry servants INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS Hosts for a meal to welcome our missionaries and to better acquaint yourself so you can pray for them. Teaching Servants with a love of small children to serve at the Arabic Campus Sundays from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This English-teaching opportunity is with English-speaking children. Coupon-holding Servants with almost expired or unused coupons for the Zoo or SeaWorld or fun excursions in San Diego County to be shared with visiting missionaries. Car-sharing Servants - with an extra car willing to loan to a visiting missionary either short/long term.

SPARC - SMCC Sports/Recreation Ministries Coaches to serve and lead teams for various sports and summer camps; K-8 th grade; 1-2 days a week during the season of a specific sport, typically seasons include Saturdays; Summer camps are M-Th; experienced or willing to learn; investing spiritually along with character/skill development Servants who love the sports environment to assist with First Impressions Greet/Snack bar/connect relationally/offer Team Support/Share their faith STUDENT MINISTRIES MIDDLE SCHOOL Middle School Ministry offers opportunities for Encouraging Adult Servants who want to invest in the next generation by building relationships, leading small groups or assisting with tech/music/hospitality on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. If you love that age there s probably a place for you! Small Group Leaders to build relationships and/or lead Bible studies with middles school students on Sunday 9a and 10:45a. Small Group Co-leader to mentor students and help with a small group. Wednesday Nights 6:00-8:00p build relationships with the students and hang out with them for Wednesday night Bible Study.

Servant Drivers for CREW events who will drive the Grossmont School District bus or the church vans. You must be over 25 to drive and have a class B license. SENIOR HIGH Sunday Servants willing to find an area of focus and connect with Sr. High students on Sunday mornings at the Gathering @ 9a Wednesday nights from 6-8:00PM lead a small group or co-lead a small group Servant Drivers for Gathering events who will drive the Grossmont School District bus or the church vans. Be blessed with a devotional & prayer time, serving Kids together & the love of Jesus Christ. This enables young moms to attend Bible study and MOPS. (Serving 7 times a semester - Fall: September - December; Spring: January May). Lady Servants who enjoy knitting and/or sewing, you re invited to Needlecrafters, which meets Wednesday mornings. Help make various ministry projects that include items for missions, new moms in our church, local pregnancy care centers and other special items for those in hospitals/care facilities.
YOUNG ADULTS Servants with a heart to mentor, encourage, pray for, and build into young adults seeking mentorship and encouragement. Various times, depending on availability. COLLEGE MINISTRY (ages 18-25) Adult Servants with a heart for college-age adults to serve at Thursday 7p Worship Gathering (Crew Room at Youth Center) by setting up and building relationships.
