All About Jesus Seminar Join us for the All About Jesus Seminar with Lee Venden, coming to the Medford Adventist Church September 7-15, with the exception of Sept 8. A dinner will be served in our fellowship room at 5:30 PM each night, with the meeting beginning at 6:30 PM. Youth Sabbath School Class Outing The Youth and their families are invited to Church at the Coast next Sabbath, September 8. We ll be meeting at the BLC at 7:30 AM for breakfast, then leaving for Sunset Bay State Park at 8:30 AM. Youth Sabbath School Please note that the Youth Sabbath School Lesson Study is meeting as usual at 10:00 AM in the Youth Chapel, but due to summer, the Youth Breakfast and Song Service will resume at the Better Living Center on September 15. Jaime Jorge in Concert Violin virtuoso Jaime Jorge will give a concert here at the Grants Pass SDA Church on Saturday, September 15, beginning at 6:00 PM. His expressive mastery of the violin has delighted audiences around the globe. Jaime has dedicated his talents to sharing the love of God through sacred and classical concerts and special appearances the world over, touching millions of lives. Grants Pass Spanish Ministry Our church is blessed to have a ministry which reaches out to our Hispanic members and community. Spanish Sabbath School (9:30 AM) and Spanish Worship Service (11:00 AM) and a bi-lingual Vespers (6:00 PM) takes place each Sabbath. For more information please call Ruben Garcia at 541-660- 2391. Dorcas Many in the community of Grants Pass are blessed with food and clothing that is distributed from our center. Come Join the Choir! Feeling blue and depressed? Not enough joy in your life? Come to choir practice and sing those blues away! There are many reasons to sing in a choir. These are just a few: Singing is good for your health. It releases endorphins, that feel-good hormone that makes you feel joyful and happy. Singing is so important that God has it as a part of worship in the courts above. {Ev 507.5} Choir singing is the praise of God in song. {Ev 507.2} Singing is a talent of influence, which God desires all to cultivate and use to His name's glory. {Ev 504.3} He wants us to praise Him with heart and soul and voice, magnifying His name before the world. {Ev 503.6} Choir meets every Thursday at 6:30 PM in the Choir Room. COME AND SING!
