Reconciliation: Saturday from 3:15PM to 3:40PM or call the rectory for an appointment. First Eucharist & Confirmation: Preparation two years prior to receiving each Sacrament is mandatory as a registered student in the Faith Formation Program. Matrimony: Couples are asked to consult with our priest at least six months in advance of the intended date to allow time for marriage preparation, including the Diocesan Program. Ministry to the Sick: Please notify us if someone you know is homebound and would like to be added to our Communion call list, or would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick. Low gluten hosts available: Please let us know before Mass if you have a need to receive this type of host.

Thank you for your faithful support. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development funds programs in communities across the United States. Next weekend (Nov. 19-20) our parish will participate in this special collection to help break the cycle of poverty. St. Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund: In making funeral arrangements, you may wish to consider enrolling the deceased in our Saint Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund. Relatives and friends who donate to the fund in memory of the deceased receive a thank you card from the parish, and another card is sent to notify the family of your gift. The gifts are charitable contributions and may be a supplement or a substitute for flowers. Those whose names are enrolled are remembered in the Masses and prayers of the Parish.

November 13, 2016 Confirmation I - Grade 8 students will meet in the church hall on Nov. 13th and Nov. 20th. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by 9:30 a.m. Mass with their class. Confirmation II - Grade 9 Students will meet next Sunday, November 20th. Class begins in the church hall at 9:30 a.m. followed by 11:00 a.m. Mass. Grades 6 & 7 attend the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, followed by class downstairs until 11:30 a.m. Grades 3, 4, & 5 Grades 1 & 2 FAITH FORMATION Tuesday, 4:30 5:30 p.m Thursday, 4:30 5:30 p.m. PRESCHOOL PROGRAM Children (3 yrs. to Kindergarten) who are pre-registered for the Preschool Program will come to the 9:30 a.m. Mass with their families. After receiving a blessing by the presiding priest, their teachers will take them downstairs for the program. Parents pick up their children downstairs after Mass. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL NEWS: Annual BROWN BAG Sundays Our St. Vincent de Paul Society will be holding their annual food collection during the month of November. We are preparing for the upcoming holiday food baskets which will be brought to needy families. Our food pantry is also in need of replenishment. Nonperishable food items may be brought to the church entrances. You may also help to provide for the purchase of vegetables, fruit, turkeys and other foods to enhance the holiday cheer for the needy by making monetary donation in an envelope marked BROWN BAG DONATION and dropping it into the collection basket. Please make checks payable to St. Vincent de Paul Society. If you are in need of a food basket for the holidays, please call the rectory and arrangements will be made to deliver your basket. REMINDER: The New York City Bus Trip will be on Saturday, November 19, 2016. All those who have reserved a seat on the bus should meet at the church parking lot that morning. The bus will leave at 6:30 a.m. sharp. GRADES 3, 4 & 5: Next Sunday, November 20th, families will worship at the 9:30 a.m. Mass with their children in Grades 3, 4 & 5. Join us after Mass for fun, fellowship and coffee & donuts in the church hall. All are welcome! Knitting Ministry: Our next meeting will be next Tuesday, November 22nd at 1 p.m. in the church hall. Currently we have several prayer shawls, so if you know of anyone who is ill and in need of a prayer shawl, please let us know. Christmas Choir: Rehearsals for our parish Christmas choir will be held on the following Wednesdays at 7PM in the church: 11/16, 11/30, 12/14, 12/21. All voice parts are needed and the ability to read music is not necessary. This is an opportunity for you to learn new music and make new friends as you share your musical gifts and enhance our Christmas celebrations through sung prayer. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need a few helpers for the upcoming Christmas Pageant. It s not a long term commitment. For more information on how you can help, please call Mrs. Patota at 508-673-2808. This makes a great service project! 50 Week Club Members are reminded to please bring your club membership dues up to date. Parish and Diocesan Events The 22nd Annual Fall Fundraising dinner event for The Foundation to Advance Catholic Education (FACE), formerly known as the St. Mary s Education Fund, will be held at White s of Westport on Thursday evening, November 17, 2016. The guest speaker for the evening will be Mother Dolores Hart, a Benedictine nun who began her career as a Hollywood actress. Bishop dacunha will present the Timothy J. Cotter Friend of Catholic Education award to longtime President of the Pawtucket Red Sox, Michael Tamburro, for his steadfast support of Catholic Education.
