Pray that hearts will be softened to hear the gospel. Ministry Update From the Philippines October 18 to December 27 David and Becky Dafoe have been in the Philippines for the last three months sharing the gospel, teaching and serving where needed. During this trip, they have assisted in serving 1,517 meals, distributed 1,320 Christmas gift bags and we have experienced 634 making decisions for Christ. David and Becky are praising the Lord for faithfully supplying all their needs for His work in the Philippines They ask TCBC to continue to pray for safe travels from town to town and trip home. Serving Our Neighbors is a ministry supported by Tega Cay Baptist throughout the year. For the month of January, the items needed for the pantry are can chili, can soup, can meat and rice. You can bring the items requested and place in the SON s food pantry which is located at the back of the Worship Center (Room 1). Thank you for your willingness to share with others. A heartfelt appreciation for all your support and care for S.O.N Ministry. It has been 3 years into the ministry and we have helped 98 neighbors in Fort Mill to progress closer to permanent housing and/or maintained their current housing. Tega Cay Baptist has been a blessing in every season with the year-round food pantry, monthly support, VBS, 2nd Mile, and Christmas Angle Tree. With your support, you have enabled us to touch lives for Christ. S.O.N Ministries has seen 43 salvations this year. Our prayer at S.O.N Ministry is for God to continue to grow your body of believers. S.O.N. Ministry - Kim Vinesett A note of appreciation from the Palmetto Pregnancy Center of York County for your generous financial gifts, prayers and service. Without you, the Pregnancy Center of York County could not have accomplished so much! We served over 3,100 clients, administered 700 pregnancy tests, 270 ultrasounds (free of charge) and over 665 free resource items such as diapers, formula, baby cloths, bottles, and other necessities. News from... Vacation Bible School.. SAVE THESE DATES! Maker Fun Factory where we'll learn how we are created by God for a Purpose. June 19th-23rd, 2017 (note: that's a Monday-Friday this year) in the evening 6-8:30pm. Sunday Night Live (SNL) starts up again on Sunday, January 8! SNL is a discipleship class for children K-5th grade. The Sundays that SNL will meet this semester are: January 8, 15, 22, 29; February 12, 19, 26; March 5, 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9, 23, & 30. We will meet from 4:30-6:30pm in Building 3. In SNL, we worship God through music, Bible study, games, snacks, craft activities and fellowship/small groups. We are looking forward to starting a very special study on God's redemption plan for us as it is revealed throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Yes, we are packing a lot into one semester going through the entire Bible, but Ms. Bonita has done a great job planning this out. We will see much of the Bible from a bird's eye view, but we will dive down into certain stories in the Bible for a deeper look into what Jesus did for us on the cross and how the entire Bible points to salvation. On Palm Sunday (April 9), we are planning a very special evening...we will have a Passover Seder during SNL! We will also plan a couple of service evenings and a movie night throughout the semester. Regarding Preschool Sunday Night Live (SNL): The preschoolers will only be meeting the Sundays listed above for the months of March and April from 4:30-6:30pm in Building 2. SNL-Sunday Night Live - Children singing songs during worship in December that they learned in SNL during the fall semester. "Trust in the Lord" and "All Things Work Together". These songs helped them memorize actual scripture from the Bible (Proverbs 3:5-6) & (Romans 8:28).
