Class Clips: Outdoor Education is big in 6 th Grade! Outdoor education trip to Glacier! Thanks to Mrs. Braaten for providing this wonderful opportunity for your students! First Grade Kindergarten Kindergarten delivered the treat of Jesus to our neighborhood yesterday! They all marched down the sidewalk wearing their very special rain hats! Students engage with IPADS while reading at their level. Others work with their teacher in small group, partner read, or work independently on word work. ]

Second Grade Third Grade Students assist each other as they use hands on manipulatives as a math resource. They learned to regroup hands on visually, as well as the traditional way this week. Students learn to use POWER words in writing. They also enjoy the Treasure Map of IDEAS that Mrs. Cutler provided to scaffold, motivate, and prompt writing. Students go nuts over contractions. They will build them and then use them in a sentence on whiteboards. An early finisher escapes to the Treehouse reading loft!

Seventh Grade Fourth Grade Students use prompting cards with questions to help them focus on key targets while reading independently. These prompts help hold them accountable for their reading. Fifth Grade Students explain their learning objective as they create a large map of the United States. They are recreating the Lewis and Clark Trail as a unit with Ms. McCauley. What makes it special is that they not only make ties to the real world, but they become Lewis and Clark. This makes learning more relevant, and increases rigor! Others work with Ms. MCauley doing research on Google Chromebooks. Great Job Families! You earned $1,677 toward tuition last quarter! You can view your credit applied to your TADS account. Be thinking and planning for the holidays! SCRIP can be used for travel, hotels, food, gifts, fuel, etc... Ways to Give Students are 100% focused on Saxon Math Skills. They are divided into 3 different leveled groupings. Mrs. Weid provides an explicit lesson. During independent practice she and Mr. Henry help individuals work. Shop Amazon? October 31 st is also remembered as Reformation Day in the Lutheran Church. This coming year marks the 500 th year of the day Marin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany. Martin Luther disagreed with several teachings of the Roman Catholic Church including the selling of indulgences to the people for repentance by the church. He believed The church s true treasure is Gospel of Jesus Christ. Martin Luther is also known for translating the Bible from Greek into German so the common people would be able to read God s Word as well. He also wrote the famous hymn A Might Fortress is Our

God and is known as The Battle Hymn of the Reformation. PRAYER: We pray Lord that our Trinity Lutheran School family s example would point others toward God. We pray that our teachers, students, and families would be a shining light of hope and of your love for others. AMEN To Him be the Glory + in the church + and in Christ Jesus + Throughout all generations forever and ever!
