Can you spare a few hours a week??? The current Kingdom Kids program will be over at the end of April, and we need to start planning by June for next fall. In order for Kingdom Kids to continue, we need at least four teachers and four helpers each Wednesday afternoon (normally 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.). At this moment we have two teachers, AnnMarie Buchner and Linda Sbraccia, and three helpers, Nancy Santer, Bev Rothenberger and Gerry Herrmann, signed up. We still need at least two more teachers and two more helpers. Prayerfully consider what God is asking you to do. If you want to help but this sounds like too much of a commitment, please talk to us. Even one day a month can make a difference. We are flexible! We would love to talk to you if you have questions, and if you think this may be something you would like to do. Thank you, AnnMarie Buchner - 989-621-7681 Bev Rothenberger - 317-413-7491 YOU ARE INVITED!!! Compassion Sunday Please come help celebrate Matthew Buchner's graduation! May 13, 2018 is Compassion Sunday. Children are blessed and you will be too when you receive letters and updates regarding your sponsored child. The celebration will be: May 19th from 2-5pm. here at New Hope.

from your pastor s point of view 5-13-18 cell/text: 989-621-7782 office: 231-972-2838 email: pastorgreg.ncd @gmail.com GOD S BODACIOUS GRACE, FAULTLESS TRUTH, AND TREMENDOUS LOVE (FROM PASTOR GREG) A PRAYER FOR OUR MOTHERS Gracious, Mothering, Loving, God, thank you for our mothers. We lift up those women who have joined God in heaven and whom we miss here on earth. We lift up those women working one-two- if not three or more jobs, even as we speak, to support their families. We lift up those women who struggled to be good mothers, give them your forgiveness, and let all children know of a God who wants to mother them in healthy ways. We lift up those moms who are expecting, who have a special bond with that new creation being born in them. We lift up those who have desperately wanted to have children of their own, but who chose instead to be a mother for others, caring for anyone as needed. We lift up those moms who gave their children up for adoption, and for those who adopted, in both cases, honoring the life of their child over their own. We lift up those moms who have lost a child to death and who carry on. May they know that the God of all love, is taking care of them until we meet again. Bless them all we pray, and their families too. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
