Allah (جل جلاله) even set our day for us. The truthful person wants Allah s pleasure and is constant in working towards it so that he s not caught up in bad thoughts or distractions. (آثار الصدق ( Truthfulness Impacts of 1. The one who s truthful is doing everything to give victory to Allah s deen. 3. High resolution ( العالية :(الهمة he s full of energy and motivation, he s not lazy or dreaming without doing anything. He s pushing himself to seek Allah s pleasure. Abu Bakr هللا عنه) (رضي would be seen in prayer, dhikr, performing hajj, visiting the sick, teaching, learning, giving condolences, commanding to good, and giving victory to the oppressed. 4. Firm on steadfastness ( على الستقامة :(الثبات the truthful person knows that as long he s still alive, he is still in need of firmness. He s not the one who s going right and left or being distracted with (جل جلاله) to be firm on the guidance. May Allah (جل جلاله) desires and doubts. He s always asking Allah keep us firm on guidance. Ameen. 7. He wants to be away from any doubtful matters. Say: "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away, he (Messenger Muhammad للا عليه وسلم (صلى is only responsible for the duty placed on him (i.e. to convey Allah's Message) and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way)." Guidance will not come to the one who s impure and bad. The messengers are not responsible if people accept the guidance or not. (If you obey him, you shall be on the right ) و إ ن ت ط يع وه ت ه ت د وا و م ا ع ل ى الر س و ل إ ل ال ب ال غ ال م ب ي ن ( guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way)."): when a person obeys the Prophet (ﷺ) then he ll be guided and when a person disobeys him then he ll be misguided. We need to follow the Prophet (ﷺ) in order to be guided. The message needs to be clear with no doubts and to the point. This is teaching us that anyone with a message needs to deliver and make it reach its destination; it s not about people accepting it or not. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent letters inviting the 2 P a g e

rulers of the Roman and Persian Empires to Islam; it s his responsibility to convey the message but it s not his responsibility if they accept or not. Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). promises and whatever He promises then surely it (جل جلاله) (Allah has promised): Allah ) و ع د للا ( will be fulfilled. Allah (جل جلاله) never breaks His promises, and the promise of Allah (جل جلاله) is true so it must happen. The word ( ع د (و is a promise for something good, unlike (وعيد) which is a warning and threat. Whom did Allah (جل جلاله) promise? Allah (جل جلاله) didn t promise the hypocrites or disbelievers. The one who believes will show his faith with his actions. This ayah is (جل جلاله) has promised. What did Allah (جل جلاله) also a motivation to be a part of those whom Allah promise them? These three following matters are the desires of all people. They will not have any feelings of unease to be covered or to pray or to practice the deen. When a person has honor with the deen then no one will look down upon him. He s not someone who s afraid to make his light shine. Allah (جل جلاله) chooses people to take care and preserve His deen. (And He will surely give them in exchange a safe ) و ل ي ب دل ن ه م من ب ع د خ و ف ه م أ م ن ا ( 3. security after their fear): and surely Allah (جل جلاله) will exchange their fear to security. The security will only come after going through darkness and fear. A person might simply want security but Allah (جل جلاله) will not only give him peace, but He will give him more then he can imagine. He will make them established in the land and carry His deen. May Allah (جل جلاله) make us keys of good. Ameen. All of these matters are a result of a person s belief and good deeds. A person has to be truthful in wanting to give victory to Allah s deen by believing in Him and doing righteous good deeds. How will Allah (جل جلاله) give this person victory? The three matters mentioned. Surah Al Hajj 40 to 41: Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: "Our Lord is Allah." For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allah is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) enjoin Iqamat-as-Salat [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) (the males in mosques)], to pay the Zakat and they enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islam has forbidden) [i.e. they make the 4 P a g e

Qur'an as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allah rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures). When a person is established in the land then he should establish the prayer, give zakat, and encourage to good and forbid evil. ((provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not ) ي ع ب د ون ن ي ل ي ش ر ك و ن ب ي شي ئ ا ( associate anything (in worship) with Me.): no matter how much authority or power a person has, he s to worship Allah (جل جلاله) and not commit shirk. He s to keep himself humble before Allah.(جل جلاله) Someone who s blindly following others regardless of what Allah (جل جلاله) says or is attaching to the duniya regardless of what Allah (جل جلاله) said is shirk. It s a reminder from Allah (جل جلاله) to not spoil the lantern with shirk. (But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the ) و م ن ك ف ر ب ع د ذل ك ف أ ول ئ ك ه م ال ف اس ق و ن ( Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).): and whoever disbelieves referring back to those who believed and did good deeds, then he s among the fasiqeen. They have disbelieved by attributing goodness and success to themselves while misguiding others thus becomes rebellious and stubborn. May Allah (جل جلاله) protect us. Ameen. O Changer of the hearts, keep our hearts firm on Your deen. Ameen. The people of the lantern fear their eyes and hearts will change from seeking the pleasure of Allah (جل جلاله) to the pleasure of the people. They re like mountains who are great from outside but they re humble and fearful to Allah (جل جلاله) inside. And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and obey the Messenger (Muhammad للا عليه وسلم (صلى that you may receive mercy (from Allah).
