Morning prayer by St John Chrysostom Lord, deprive me not of Your heavenly joys. Lord, deliver me from eternal torments. Lord, if I have sinned in mind or thought, in word or deed, forgive me. Lord, deliver me from all ignorance, forgetfulness, cowardice and stony insensibility. Lord, deliver me from every temptation. Lord, enlighten my heart which evil desires have darkened. Lord, I being human have sinned, but You being the generous God, have mercy on me, knowing the sickness of my soul. Lord, send Thy grace to my help, that I may glorify Thy holy Name. Lord Jesus Christ, write me Thy servant in the Book of Life, and grant me a good end. O Lord my God, even though I have done nothing good in Your sight, yet grant me by Your grace to make a good start. Lord, sprinkle into my heart the dew of Your grace. Lord of heaven and earth remember me, Your sinful servant, shameful and unclean, in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Saturday Psali Remembering Your holy name, brings joy to our souls, Everyone blesses You, the heavenly and the earthly, For You alone are worthy, to be blessed, Truly You are worthy, of the glory and the honor, All the tribes of the earth, praise Your holy name, Six stone jars, You have changed into choice wine, Seven times everyday, I will praise Your holy name,

Saturday Psali With delight we praise You, all of us Your people, The beauty of Your holy name, is on the mouths of Your saints, From morning to evening every day, I will praise Your holy name, With every breath that I take, I will praise Your holy name, All the causes of sin, remove from our souls, All the thoughts of the enemy, may they be cast away from me, Every breath praises You, as said by the prophet,

Saturday Psali You are above all principalities, You are the King of kings, Yours is the glory with Your Father, and the Holy Spirit, Your name is blessed and sweet, in the mouths of Your saints, My mouth praises You, and my tongue glorifies You, Yes indeed we praise You, yes indeed we glorify You, We will never get weary, nor cease to praise You,

Saturday Psali All the praises of blessings, we send up unto You, Yours is the glory, the honor and thanksgiving, Holy O Lord and holy, You are holy indeed O my God, Every soul praises You, every knee bows to You, O name full of glory, O name full of blessings, Forever and ever, we will not cease to praise You, Yours is the blessings, the glory and the honor,

Saturday Psali With blessings we bless You, with glory we glorify You, As long as we live we will praise You, as long as we are here we will glorify You, The perfection of all blessings, is in Your holy name, Receive our prayers, we who are sinners, Grant us Your true peace, and forgive us our sins,

The kneeling prayer 2 nd litany O Lord our God, who gave peace to people and gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit in their different ages, make us also worthy to be counted among your inheritance. May you send us your Holy Spirit whom you sent upon your disciples and Apostles on the Day of Pentecost, who appeared in their mouths and on their lips as tongues of fire. Through your Apostles we accepted the knowledge of your Divinity when we heard it with our ears, each of us according to his language, And we were filled with the light of the fire of your Holy Spirit. We were saved from the perversion of darkness when we were united with the various fiery tongues, and were filled with your great goodness. When you called us to your faith, we believed and spoke of the glory of your Divinity with the Father and the Holy Spirit, One Godhead and One Dominion. We were enlightened through you because you are the Light of the Father, and the Character of His Essence and Nature, the Unchangeable and the Fountain of wisdom. I ask you to open my lips, I the sinner. Teach me how to supplicate to you for all our needs because you alone know the multitude of my sins. But your lovingkindness overcomes my unawareness.

The kneeling prayer 2 nd litany For behold, I stand in fear before the multitude of your mercies and cast myself beneath them. Design my life, O Designer of all creation with your unutterable power and wisdom. O Harbor of peace for those who are suffering in the storm, show us the way in which we should walk. Send the Spirit of Your wisdom upon my thoughts and give my ignorance understanding from Your Holy Spirit. May your fearful Spirit overshadow my works. May you renew your upright Spirit within me. May your mighty Spirit straighten my thoughts and prevent them from perversion. May your Good Spirit direct me to the right path, That I may be worthy to do your commandments and remember at all times your coming to judge everyone according to their deeds. Do not reject me, I who am defiled by the uncleanness and the wounds of this world. But strengthen me that I may find mercy before you. You said "Whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you Upon your words, I the sinner ask of your Divinity that you may grant me what you have promised me for my salvation. Yes, O Lord, Maker of all good, who is rich and gracious, you who give us more than we ask, you are merciful and without sin, look to your people who are kneeling down bowing before you. O Compassionate, forgive our sins.

The kneeling prayer 2 nd litany Hear them from your holy heaven. Sanctify us with your might saving hand. Cover us with the shadow of your wings. Do not forsake the work of your hands. If we have sinned against you, forgive us our trespasses. Accept our supplications because our knees are bent in worship before you. Stretch out your hands towards us and support us. Accept our prayers as an accepted incense before you. O good Lord who saved us from every evil arrow that flies by day, save us from every danger at night. Accept our evening sacrifice, which is the raising up of our hands. Grant us to pass the night. Untempted by the evil one and save us from every anxiety and every fear of Satan. Grant solemnity to our souls and grant us awareness to stand with attentive minds before your fearful Throne. Nail your fear into our flesh. Mortify our earthly senses. May we be enlightened in the solitude of the night by the knowledge of your commandments. Take away from us all vain fantasies and all the painful lusts. Awaken us at the time of prayer. Give us adherence to your faith and growth in your commandments because you are our God. We send up to you glory, honor and worship with your Good Father and the Holy Spirit the Life-giver, now and always and until the end of ages. Amen.

Silent personal prayers

Conclusion of every hour Have mercy on us, O God, and have mercy on us, who, at all times and in every hour, in heaven and on earth, is worshipped and glorified, Christ our God, the good, the long suffering, the abundant in mercy, and the great in compassion, who loves the righteous and has mercy on the sinners of whom I am chief; who does not wish the death of the sinner but rather that he returns and lives, who calls all to salvation for the promise of the blessings to come. Lord, receive from us our prayers in this hour and in every hour. Ease our life and guide us to fulfill Your commandments. Sanctify our spirits. Cleanse our bodies Conduct our thoughts. Purify our intentions. Heal our diseases. Forgive our sins. Deliver us from every evil grief and distress of heart. Surround us by Your holy angels, that, by their camp, we may be guarded and guided, and attain the unity of faith, and the knowledge of Your imperceptible and infinite glory. For You are blessed forever. Amen.
