Student Grant/Youth Education $ 45.00 Building Maintenance Fund $ 10.00 Thank you for your contributions. For the next ten weeks we will be running the 10 Commandments. Maybe we can reflect on how we are honoring them. Thou shalt not Kill. In today s society we forget that Killing is more than just physical; its one s way of life, their emotions, and one s Spirit that can be Destroyed, killing the person from the inside out. SCRIP We will be selling SCRIP after all Masses THIS weekend, October 7 and 8. If you haven't used SCRIP yet, please consider doing so. It is a simple way for Sacred Heart to earn $$ without you having to buy anything you don't need or want. Just buy scrip cards (just like a gift card) to use when you do your everyday shopping, when you fill up your tank with gas or go out to eat! If you have questions, please email or call/text Amy Piantek at 715-851-4269 or apiantek@gmail.com. The Consequences of Being Wrong! Any reasonable person considers the possibility that he (or she) could be wrong regarding any important position they take. If the pro-life movement is wrong, then we are guilty of trying to deny women a so-called right to privacy (which has never been part of our Constitution). But, if the pro-abortion side is wrong, then they are indisputably and directly responsible for the slaughter and mass murder of millions of innocent children three and a half thousand a day in the United States. So, the question is, would it be better to be prolife and wrong, or pro-choice and wrong? The answer is very clear! 3 Sacred Heart Cemetery and Mausoleum Fall Clean-up The clean-up starts Tuesday, October 10 and runs through Wednesday, November 1. No new decorations, including statues and urns, may not be placed in the cemetery before Wednesday, November 1. When making final plans, be sure to contact our cemetery personnel as we have crypts, niches, and graves for placement of remains in a Catholic tradition.

We now have 99 students registered! We have added 29 NEW students! Call us TODAY to learn more or to inquire about the enrollment or transfer process for this year: 715-526-5328 Please contact Autumne Gee, Admissions Director, at agee@sacredheartshawano.org. Move to the Groove is an awardwinning dance fitness program that makes exercise less like gym class and more like a playground. Created by Rhex Arboleda, a music teacher from Neenah, Wisconsin, the program targets childhood obesity and is actively being used in several elementary schools. But Move to the Groove isn t only for children; it is for the entire family or the entire school! Move to the Groove demonstrates healthy choices to students and their families. It helps everyone understand the relationship between activity, exercise, nutrition and health. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process through which adults become full members of the Roman Catholic Church. The RCIA is based on a lifelong faith formation model. There are several stages involved in the process beginning with a period of inquiry to find out more about Catholicism. As individuals are ready, the parish celebrates certain rites (rituals) that signify the end of one stage and the beginning of another. Please let us know by September 29 if you are interested. Please call 715-526-2023. Class will start middle of October. Have a great fall. 4
