UGANDA NEED We have learned that the Lutheran Church in Kampala, where the Gillard s worship, must move their tent structure to a new spot. Land has been located at a cost of $13,000 -- which is a huge amount for that humble congregation. Any that might be moved to help them with a special gift may remit it through Redeemer with the designation Kampala Congregation. JOSHUA (continuing) Joshua has often been called a type of Christ figure, and even his Hebrew name is the same name as the one we call Jesus. This Old Testament book of the Bible contains the redemption story of what took place after the Exodus, Joshua leading God s people into war, the Battle of Jericho, and finally arriving in the Promised Land.
