The belief that getting clean on the inside has nothing to do with external behavior is as mistaken as the belief that you can get clean on the inside by focusing on external behavior.

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that and shudder.
You CAN T make yourself clean.
Only God can make you clean.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
