1. Where does this new life begin? Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
a) We are united with Christ in His death v5: For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

*Our Slavery to sin has ended v7: For he who has died has been freed from sin. (6:17-18: But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
