EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF THE HOLY EUCHARIST Parishioners who have the love of the Eucharist are invited to become Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. The training will be sometime on September 2017, usually Saturday from 1:00pm 4:30pm. SPIRIT FIRE Evening of Prayer & Worship The St. Martin de Porres Community of Praise will sponsor an evening of prayer and praise featuring Spirit Fire on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. We would encourage and thank you for donations of underwear socks for ages 5-16 also a small gift card for boy or girl for a haircut. This would be a very special gift for our young ones and if anyone has a beauty shop and could help with this project please call this office. If you could ask your Kids to clean out their dresser drawers for clothing items they no longer wear. What a great way to awaken in our children and grandchildren the needs of those who are not as fortunate as others. Once again we thank you on behalf of the families which come to our door every day. We are Christ s Hands and Voice reaching out to those in such desperate need. Collections will begin July 16 th through Labor Day. Receptacles for your donations will be in the parish office. The 29th Annual Fr. Forrester Memorial Padre Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Carmelite Friars, will be held beginning with registration and a continental breakfast at 9 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 at the West Hills Country Club in Middletown, New York.
