On Aprl 28 1999 ths nvestgator spoke to Debbe Cobb the mother of Zach Cobb. She advsed that her son had been prevously ntervewed by a Detectve Terry Demmel. Ths nvestgator contacted Det. Demmel by phone and he advsed that he had ntervewed Zach on Aprl 26 1999. On May 5 1999 ths nvestgator met wth Zach Cobb at hs resdence. Present durng the ntervew were hs parents. Zach advsed that after completng hs fourth hour foregn language class he went to the cafetera and arrved there at approxmately 11: 12 avm He was shown a dagram of the cafetera and was asked f he could recall where he had been seated. Zach sad that before he got down on the floor he looked through a wndow n the drecton of where he had heard the exploson but dd not see anythng. He sad he then began to crawl towards the stars. He heard a jantor say "get down he'll got a gun". Wllam crcle the area of the cafetera he was watng at at 11 :30am on 4/20/99 on a cafetera drawng provded for hm. Once outsde she ran towards Clement Park and clmbed the fence nto the park. Eventually she and lllany other students were drected to the publc lbrary n Clement Park. Her Mother pcked her up at the lbrary later that afternoon. The tllornng was normal. She never saw anythng unusual. She sad that look:ng back the feelng at school was unusual. t seemed depressed for 1'10 reason. She got to the cafetera and set her bag where she usually sts at table W wth Sean Lee to her rght. Then Ellen Prommersberger (5469 S. rs Street Lttleton CO 80123 303 972-4298) another grl maybe Elysea Zahn (not sure where she was sttng) then Dana Cohen then Steve Cohen. (Steve and Dana 303 347-0151) Lndsay went to the lunch lne go get lunch. The lne wasn't long. She came back to her seat. She put her food down. As soon as she sat down Mr. Sanders and a custodan were runnng from the drecton of the teacher's lounge. The custodan went by the wndows and Mr. Sanders went the way of the lunch lnes. They were yellng at them to get under the tables. Everyone was down under the tables for about 15 seconds. Lndsay heard ndthng. The students started to get up. Mr. Sanders yelled to stay down. A bunch of students started runnng toward the stars and some toward the ktchen. Chars were beng thrown out of the way. Lndsay heard a gun shot when they all started to get back up. She's never heard a gun shot before. t was hgh ptched k:nd of 1ke a f re cracker. t sounded lke a toy cap gun. She ddn't hear a bomb. She never saw any smoke. She sad that a mob of kds started gong up the stars. At the second ter there was a grl sldng down. As Lndsay reached to grab her she saw some of the cement "flyng". (Lke a bullet had ht t.) She only saw the back of who ever t was. From the way they walked t wasn't a woman. The har wasn't really short but knd of shaggy. The har was not down to the shoulders. The person was not wearng a hat. She dd not notce anythng on the trench coat. Ths person seemed taller than Lndsay. She couldn't tell f ths person was holdng anythng n ther hands. She ran past the hall ths person was n. She ran out the doors. So many people were tryng to get out the doors. She ht a set of steps and trpped. When she looked back there was someone on the roof. t was just a glance. She couldn't tell what the person was wearng or holdng or what the person looked lke. She kept runnng after that. She ran down the stars to Perce and across Perce to Leawood Park. Then she caught up wth Megan Mnger. They just kept walkng straght out of the park. They followed some grl who sad she lved close. Also present durng the ntervew were Crandall's parents. Crandall provded the followng nformaton: Crandall s a senor at Columbne Hgh School (CHS). Crandall personally knows Dylan Klebold. Crandall had a composton for College Bound language class wth hm. Crandall does not personally know Erc Harrs. On Aprl 20 1999 Crandall went to CHS at approxmately 8:15 a.m. to meet wth student Tna Bernacoh and Mchelle Fox. The three met and left the school at 8:20 a.m. to go to the marketng banquet at the Welshre nn Denver Colorado. The three returned together at approxmately 11:00 to 11:15 a.m. Bernacch drove her oar and parked n her space space number 50. When leavng the school wth Bernacoh and Fox Crandall beleves that she observed Klebold pullng nto t.he CHS' parkng lot. He was drvng hs black BMW and Crandall dd not observe anyone wth hm. Cranaall beleves that Klehold may have been wearng a black baseball cap backwards on hs head. Ths would have been approxmately 8:20 a.m. at the begnnng of the second hour. Klebold has an early mornng bowlng class and dd not have a frst hour class.
