On Aprl 20 1999 Crandall went to CHS at approxmately 8:15 a.m. to meet wth student Tna Bernacoh and Mchelle Fox. The three met and left the school at 8:20 a.m. to go to the marketng banquet at the Welshre nn Denver Colorado. The three returned together at approxmately 11:00 to 11:15 a.m. Bernacch drove her oar and parked n her space space number 50. When leavng the school wth Bernacoh and Fox Crandall beleves that she observed Klebold pullng nto t.he CHS' parkng lot. He was drvng hs black BMW and Crandall dd not observe anyone wth hm. He stated at ths tme he notced another person wth dark har approxmately 5'10" wearng a black trench coat. He stated ths person was approxmately50 to 100 feet away and was loadnga shotgun asked hm where ths person was standng wth the shotgun. He nformed me that he was standng near the double doors that ext to the west of the buldng just north of the lbrary. He Stated that he also saw somethng yellow around ths person's wast and that the person's har was messed up. He stated that thsperson then chased them down the stars towardthe cafetera. He stated that Jay Gallentne who s also a jantor was wth hm and they ran nto the ktchen area and hd under a stove. He stated that the person n the trench coat began shootng at them toward the ktchen area but dd not come downstars to the cafetera or ktchen. that he stayed n the hallway. Johns part oethe day crewcustodal staff. Thrty fve to forty fve mnutes before the frst shotwasfred he was on the tractor. He was dumpng the trash cans on the feld. At about 1050 hrs. Tony and Jay were eatng lunch. Curts went down to get an Amy's and hs lunch. He then began eatng. At about lls brs. he went downstars n Jay's area by the lower common entrance. Tony and Curts went to the area thencurtswent to the westsdeof the cafetera. Curts ndcated he saw these kds around before lunch. He went outsde and saw Seam Graves on the ground. Curts went outsde. Chrs a teacher sde there was gun lre. Curts thoughtt was a prank. Curts then heard a loud exploson. Curts sad that Davd and Lance were down. Curtsthen went backnsde.
