Come, all who would be merciful; come, all who would be pure in heart; come, all who would be peacemakers. Let us come together the weak, the simple, the powerless, the foolish. Let us seek the source of our life in Christ Jesus. Let us worship the God of every blessing. INTROIT: The Rose -Kathy & Rich McCallum PRAYER OF APPROACH: God of the faithful in every time, today you have called us into your church to be one body in Jesus Christ. You have given us the gifts we need for your service. Grant that we may willingly take our part; that we may support one another; and that we may seek the greatest gift,
which is love. In love, unite your people throughout the world, through your Spirit of unity. Amen. 3 PRAYER OF CONFESSION: You have called us, God, to live as Christ did. It is difficult. We confess to you and to ourselves how often we fall short of Christ s example. We have gone off after our own goals, forgetting to test them by your intention for us...we have failed to understand the needs of those around us, and seek their good... We have relied on our own strength and given in to despair, instead of turning to you... Cleanse and renew us, that we may know the joy of your presence and be bearers of your light, through the grace of Jesus Christ. Amen.
