DISCIPLESHIP & NURTURE THE PARENTING TEENAGERS COURSE (TPTC) (For those parenting 11 to 18-year-olds; the course is also helpful for parenting children 9-years old and upwards) The Parenting Teenagers Course (TPTC) was developed and is being run worldwide by Nicky & Silas Lee who have been married for 30 years and have four children. They are co-authors of The Parenting Book and The Marriage Book. They created The Parenting Children Course (TPCC) and The Parenting Teenagers Course (TPTC), The Marriage Course and The Marriage Preparation Course. Aim of the Course: To equip parents and caregivers of teenagers with strategies to build a healthy relationship while guiding them into adulthood. prayerfocus CHILDREN S MINISTRY SILVER BOXES 1. We thank God for the team of young people and the 9am Silver Boxes team for preparing the programme for Christmas, and making it meaningful for the children. 2. Praise God for new leaders who have joined the Children's Ministry. We pray for more leaders to be called to serve in the Children's Ministry. 3. On 14 Jan, we will be launching the new ministry, Shiny Tots ministry, in the 9am and 11.15am services, which will be held at the prayer room at level 3, in the Sanctuary Block. We thank God for our leaders who have joined in this ministry, and we pray for the children and parents who join this ministry to partner with the team and to build up the children's spiritual lives. SONSHINE KIDS 1. We thank God for the families who came for the Christmas Carnival on 23 Dec. We pray for the families to find a safe space in PLMC to grow in love with God. 2. We thank God for the leaders who had availed themselves to join in the bonding session on 6 Jan 2018. We pray that our team will continue to grow to support one another as we walk in love, to build up the children in Sonshine Kids, in learning to love and trust in God. 3. Pray for our first session that resumes on 13 Jan 2018. May the Lord bring the children back to Sonshine Kids and receive His love, through the lessons and the ministry of the leaders. MANDARIN SERVICE We thank God for His unceasing favor and providence upon the Chinese Ministry. Pray that as we enter into a new year, the congregation will continue to walk closely with God, hosting His presence wherever they are, being channels of blessings to others.
