CHILDREN & YOUTH Night of Prayer Laylatul Qadr - 19th Ramadān My A amāl Journey

My name is: 19th Ramadān 1439 June 3rd 2018

Preparing yourself Tonight is a night of prayer and connecting with Allah (swt). It is a night that requires me to prepare myself. I need to be ready in every way possible to make the best of this night! How should I prepare myself? Perform Ghusl Give in Sadaqa Try to be in Wudhu at all times Remember Allah (swt) and talk less about worldly things Say Salaam to Imam Mahdi (may he reappear quickly) Recite a Sura al-fatiha for our Marhumeen Be prepared to learn and talk to Allah (swt) sincerely Have my turbah, tasbih, and Qur an ready for the A amal

Imam Ali (a) Fill in the blanks and then find the words in the wordsearch below. On the morning of the 19th, as Imam Ali (a) walked to the Masjid of, he saw that even the were really sad. When he reached the Masjid, a man by the name of Ibn was waiting to strike him with a. During Imam Ali (a) s last days, four of his children were near him. Their names are Imam, Imam, Bibi and Umme Tonight we remember Imam Ali (a) by reciting a special

Surah al-qadr Surely We revealed it [the Qur an] on the night of Qadr. And what will make you understand what the night of Qadr is? The Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months. The angels and Jibrail descend in it with the permission of their Lord for every affair, Peace! it is till the rising of the dawn. Sura al-qadr means: It is the Sura in the Qur an and has verses

Surah al-qadr It is highly recommended to recite Surah al-qadr 1,000 times on this special night of Qadr. I should try to recite it at least 10 times. Choose a colour and colour in all the stars as you finish reciting each time. Bonus! Do an extra five!

Tasbih of Forgiveness It is recommended to recite the following 70 times tonight: Astaghfirullaha wa atoobu ilayh' Add a tick as you complete reciting each time.

Tasbih for this night After Imam Ali (a) was struck, his famous words were I have succeeded by the Lord of the Ka ba! It is recommended to recite the following 100 times tonight: Allahumal an qatalata amirul mu mineen O Allah! condemn those who killed Amirul Mu mineen Is your heart feeling sad? In the heart, Draw how you are feeling or write the thoughts and emotions that are coming to your mind

Station of Qur an One of the most important A amal I will do tonight is the A amal of placing the Holy Qur an on my head and calling upon the names of Allah (swt) and the Ma sumin. Oh Allah (swt) By Your Grace and Your Mercy please grant me... Dear Prophet Muhammad (blessings be upon you and your family) You are the best of examples for us on this earth. Through you I ask Allah (swt):

Station of Qur an Dear Imam Ali (peace be upon you) You are one of the most loyal and caring personalities we know. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Lady Fatimah (peace be upon you) You are the best role model for our hijab and modesty. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Hasan (peace be upon you) You have shown us how we must make important decisions and trust in Allah (swt). Through you I ask Allah (swt):

Station of Qur an Dear Imam Husayn (peace be upon you) Your courage and strength in the battlefield has created a light in our hearts. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Ali Zaynul Abidin (peace be upon you) You showed us the art of asking Allah (swt) through the most beautiful of words. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir (peace be upon you) You educated the Muslims and taught them all sorts of knowledge. Through you I ask Allah (swt):

Station of Qur an Dear Imam Ja far as-sadiq (peace be upon you) You had thousands of students learning from you and you taught the best of scholars. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon you) You taught us patience and being happy with Allah (swt) s will and not giving up. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Ali ar-ridha (peace be upon you) We learnt about caring for others and feeding the poor from you. Till today thousands come to be the guests at your shrine! Through you I ask Allah (swt):

Station of Qur an Dear Imam Muhammad at-taqi (peace be upon you) You showed us how to help others and people were amazed when they listened to you. Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Ali an-naqi (peace be upon you) We learn how to stand up for our beliefs and not let others come in the way of our relationship with Allah (swt). Through you I ask Allah (swt): Dear Imam Hasan al-askari (peace be upon you) You taught us that no matter what restrictions we have, we can still serve in the way of Allah (swt). Through you I ask Allah (swt):

Station of Qur an Dear Imam al-mahdi (may he reappear quickly!) You are our guide and our leader. You are our living Imam. I want to be with you when you reappear and bring peace to this world. I want to have the best of Akhlaq and I want you to be proud of me! Through you I ask Allah (swt):

Ziyarat of Imam Husayn (a) On this special night we are also recommended to recite the Ziyarat of Imam Husayn (a). What would I give Imam Mahdi (May he come quickly!) if he came and knocked on my door today?

Munajat of Imam Ali (a) In the Munajat of Imam Ali (a), he shows us a beautiful way of conversation with Allah (swt). He lists lots of different relationships between us and Allah (swt). List three of them YOU ARE THE AND I AM THE YOU ARE THE AND I AM THE YOU ARE THE AND I AM THE

21st Night of Ramadan Tonight is an extremely sad night! We will remember Imam Ali (a) in his final moments. Do not to laugh or joke tonight. Go over the A amal that we did together on the 19th night and ask Allah (swt) to make your heart stronger. Pray that we are always following in the footsteps of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (s) and Imam Ali (a) and their family. Write a letter to the children of Imam Ali (a) on this very important night:

23rd Night of Ramadan In addition to the Tasbih and A amal of the Qur an that we have done in the previous nights, we will also recite three special Suras Sura al-ankabut, Sura ar-rum and Sura ad-dukhan What Surah number is Sura al-ankabut? What does al-ankabut mean? What Surah number is Sura ar-rum? What does ar-rum mean? What Surah number is Sura ad-dukhan? What does ad-dukhan mean?

We also recite some special Du as Call upon Me, I will answer you Two special Du as that we recite on this night are: and Du a Tawba Tawba means to be really sorry from the bottom of our hearts. T A W B A o first recognise that I have made a mistake sking Allah (swt) to forgive me by saying sorry ant to make sure I never repeat the mistake again y always being aware of my actions and doing good deeds llah (swt) loves me to be near to Him, so I must try hard!

Du a Makarimul Akhlaq Who does Allah (swt) say is the best of examples for us to learn from? I want to create a strong link between Allah (swt) and myself. Here are some qualities that will help me make that strong link.

Dear Imam I have now completed the A amals for the Nights of Laylatul Qadr in this Holy Month of Ramadan. May Allah (swt) be pleased with me! But there is still one thought left... I wonder where my Living Imam, Imam al-mahdi (may he reappear quickly) is tonight. Somewhere, he is sitting reading my book of deeds. I wonder if he is smiling when he looks at all that I have done this year, or whether there are tears in his eyes. I know I can do more to be more prepared and ready for when he reappears. I want him to know that I m trying and I will keep trying! I want him to know that I love him and want to be one of his companions when he reappears. I think I m going to write a prayer for him... On a separate piece of paper, write a letter to the Imam. Ask your mum or dad to help you bury it or tie it to a rock and throw it in a lake.

I begin in the name of Allah (SWT) the Most Kind, the Most Merciful. Oh my Imam, may Allah (SWT) bless you! I am writing to you, asking for your help. You are my Imam, and I wish to write to you about what scares and worries me, and what I wish for the most. I know that I cannot solve these difficulties myself, so I have knocked at Allah (SWT) s door and yours. Your status is closer to Allah (SWT) than mine, and I know that you will ask Allah (SWT) on my behalf, to help me. I pray to Him that He solves my difficulties quickly, and provides me with comfort, and guides me to success in this world and the next. Write your wishes and troubles for the Imam to help you with. Don t forget to pray for your parents and family, and your faith. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Peace be upon you, Oh Imam. During these difficult times, I ask again that you pray to Allah (SWT) on my behalf. Allah (SWT) is the Most Powerful, and I accept whatever He wishes. He is the Great.
