Cambridge, MA From the Pastor s Desk I will be away from the parish next week, February 11th to the 18th). I will be visiting friends in Oakland, California. Ironically it was warmer in Boston last Tuesday than it was in Oakland! As we have done in the past, there will be NO morning Mass during the time I am away February 11th to the 16th. I am very thankful to Deacon Greg who managed to get two of his brother Jesuits to preside at the 4:00 p.m. and the 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. Masses next weekend. Richard J. Clifford, SJ, Professor Emeritus at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, will present the workshop. Clifford is a native of Lewiston, Maine, Professor of Old Testament, and Jesuit priest, taught biblical studies at Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge from 1970 to 2008. He is a graduate of Boston College, Weston Jesuit School of Theology and Harvard University. He was General Editor of the Catholic Biblical Quarterly and is a former President of the Catholic Biblical Association. A former President of Weston Jesuit School of Theology, he was Founding Dean of the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry from 2008-2010. It begins March 7 and ends April 11. This program inspires women to freely express their thoughts and feelings through writing. The facilitator, Mary Caruso, provides a skillful balance of thought-provoking writing prompts and opportunities for participants to share their writing, as they wish.
