Sholosh Seudot You Gotta be Kiddin Me Halacha Discussion When Yaakov needed a new pair of shoes, his first thought was to ask his cousin, who ran a shoe-import business, to order a pair for him. He described the style, colour and size he wanted, but his cousin explained that there were so many similar styles, it was impossible to order based on such a vague description. The cousin suggested that Yaakov go into a nearby store, find a pair he likes, write down the name and number of the style, and send it to him. Then he could order the right pair of shoes. Yaakov wondered if he was allowed to look through the shoes on display in the store, even though he had no intention at all to buy there. (He did not want to try them on, since he already knew his shoe size. He just wanted to look.)
