NEWS FROM THE SPARROWS NEST Our 1st graduate student, Estevon, has been very active in the college community and is in a fraternity that was just started this year. He has been doing some great community service work, is involved in a number of different clubs as well as choir. He has been making a point to keep up with his coursework and is doing well. The Sparrow s Nest was part of the Great Fish Challenge where we raised $50,475!!! Thank you to everyone who donated and/or helped. The Kalispell house project has been running along smoothly. We have passed the framing inspection and are looking for licensed contractors who specialize in drywall, plumbing, roofing, insulation and HVAC Page 3

Embrace, with the love of the Mother and Handmaid, this human world of ours, which we entrust and consecrate to you, for we are full of disquiet for the earthly and eternal destiny of individuals and peoples. In a special way we entrust and consecrate to you those individuals and nations which particularly need to be entrusted and consecrated. We fly to your patronage, O holy Mother. Reject them not! Accept our humble trust and our act of God: despise not our petitions in our necessities of entrusting. The Virgin Mary, always attentive to what we ask her for, enables us to find refuge and shelter in her most pure heart. This month as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima and the feast day of St. John Paul II, let us ask Our Lady to bring us to Jesus in Adoration We need more people for Adoration. Our goal is at least 3 people per hour. The time slots of Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 pm need to be filled. Please call Ruthann at 756-8551 if you can fill this time. CARROLL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP Carroll College is once again offering a prospective student from our parish a Carroll College scholarship, named in memory of the deceased priests of the Diocese of Helena and the Diocese of Great Falls/Billings. Carroll requires that the recipient of the $1,000 scholarship be a student planning to attend Carroll College for the first in in the fall of 2018. Applications are in the parish office or at www.carroll.edu/documnts/financial-aid. The deadline for completed applications is February 1, 2018.
