As a result, today I have a stronger walk with God and I am able to mentor others more effectively in my leadership role. I love the strong community of College which has allowed me to build strong friendships along the way. Lavina, 38 I know God was prompting me in my heart to go to a deeper level with Him. Both evangelism and discipleship are key for us at Eternity Church. We are committed to making passionate disciples, who are focussed on building God s kingdom, loving and serving others and always having God first in their lives. Everyone has untold potential, and the ability to make a powerful mark on this world. We want to be intentional about our role as a Church to help people become all they can be in Christ. The Academy will Accelerate your Christian faith Deepen your relationship with Jesus Prepare you for a life of influence and purpose Designed with a combination of theory with practical application, you will learn through: Weekly teachings One on one mentoring Small Group Sharing Practical Serving Our model has been designed to have an emphasis on building strong relationships with others through community. About The Academy 4 Our Curriculum Topics covered at The Academy are Leadership Bible Interpretation New Testament Identity in Christ Old Testament Faith Moving in the Spirit Advanced Discipleship Principles Church History Kingdom Relationships Preaching & Ministry Essentials The Book of Isaiah Prayer The Academy offers a comprehensive overview and study of the Bible establishing a deeper relationship with God. This knowledge will facilitate life-long learning to strengthen your biblical worldview to be effective disciples of Christ. Through structured classes, the teachings will engage your mind as you dig deeper into God s Word. The classes aim to provoke, challenge and encourage you in God s Word and develop your Christian character. EQUIP The Academy will equip you through handson experiences. Every week, you will have the opportunity to serve in a range of ministries both inside the Church and in the community. First year students will have the opportunity to gain experience in areas of ministry interest as well as being involved with serving at our Sunday services.

Releasing people into their God given purpose, empowering them to influence the world around them. You will be using your Christian leadership in the ministry and outreach in the community. As a response to this, there will be many opportunities to put into practice all which you have learnt in the classroom. You will learn about local and overseas missions along with community support. Eternity Church has established programs and partnerships in prison ministry, street ministry and those who are recovering from drugs and alcohol which The Academy students can get involved in. For we are God s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
What to expect 6 The Academy Students will have Direct mentoring and ministry from Church leaders Two full days of Class and Ministry Opportunities Chapel Services The opportunity to be involved in a range of ministries A choice of a Ministry Trip Exclusive sessions with ministry leaders, prophetic nights, preachers Personal Development Workbooks to complete based on individual needs Group Mentoring Entry in Annual Conference Graduation Ceremony and Celebrations Your week Wednesday Thursday/Friday Sunday Class Chapel Group Mentoring Placement Placement in your preferred area of serving and with a great member of the Eternity Church team. Other requirements Apply Online at Eternitychurch.com.au/Applynow 7 Applying for The Academy Simply go to our Information Stand or go online and fill out the application form and return it to admin@eternitychurch.com.au or to the Information Stand in a sealed envelope labelled The Academy Application. Our team will contact you to begin the enrolment process. Our Location Eternity Church 42 Mirrabooka Avenue, Mirrabooka WA 6061 Eternity Church is located conveniently next to the Mirrabooka Bus Station and is a short walk to the Church. Any pre-requisites There are no pre-requisites to be part of The Academy and we can assist you if you have limited English or require educational support along the way. Payment The cost of The Academy is $3,500 which includes the cost of a mission trip, entry into our annual conference when you will be serving and a t-shirt. Payment plans are available in 1 full payment, 2 split instalments or 5 monthly payments. Please note that all fees must be paid in full by 1st June 2019. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.
