School Supplies for Lutheran World Relief WAY Student Ministries continues to collect school supplies to send overseas via Lutheran World Relief, a project begun at VBS this past Summer. Through October, please bring the following items for donation and place in the blue bin in the narthex: 70-sheet notebooks; 30cm ruler; Pencil sharpener; Blunt scissors; #2 pencils; ballpoint pens; crayons (26 or 24 count); 2.5 eraser; money to buy backpacks.

She is a free lance journalist who has traveled independently through Gaza and the West Bank. The theme of her presentation will be Justice for All? Teachers will dismiss children to their choir rooms. Youth Ringer rehearsals begin Sun., October 7, 10:30-11 AM in room 202. Open to all, 3rd grade thru high school. Trunk or Treat Sunday, October 28 Children are invited to come and Trunk or Treat around the Trinity parking lot. There will be a costume parade and cocoa/cider in the narthex. We need trunk hosts! Decorate the trunk of your car, dress up in a costume, and be ready to greet the children and hand out candy. Contest with prizes for best decorated trunk! Topics will include: Where the Bible Comes From, Interpreting the Bible in Context, Determining Right From Wrong and The Many Meanings of the Bible. All are welcome. Wednesdays 9:30 AM: An ongoing study of the upcoming Sunday's readings. Freed Up Financial Living Good Sense Movement A six-session class that helps you discover tools and develop skills to help your finances, so your finances don t end up controlling you. Among other topics, you will learn some of the scriptural wisdom on finances. We are looking for interested participants for either 6 sessions over 6 weeks, or a one-day seminar format.
