At Creations Class Many times it s a struggle to go to the store and buy a decent, cute skirt, so the sewing girls were very excited about making their own skirts in this class. For many of them, this would be their first experience sewing a skirt. This gave the teachers the opportunity to teach the girls the correct way to sew a skirt from start to finish. The sisters downstairs could hear, make sure not to cut off your notches and, zippers are fun! The girls cut, pinned, cut again, pinned again, sewed, zig-zagged, ironed, and put in a zipper! By the end of the class, the girls were bubbling over as they posed for their picture in their new skirts. With high hopes, and patterns in hand, they left encouraged that they could make more skirts at home. a2

Class Name: Skirt Tape Title: 64-0305 Perseverant 64-0311 God Is Identified By His Characteristics Project: sewing a skirt Scriptures: She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. Proverbs 31:13 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Proverbs 31:22 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. Proverbs 31:25 Proverbs 31: 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Lesson: The theme for this three-part class was taken from Proverbs 31. These verses beautifully describe the attributes of the virtuous woman. Some of these attributes were discussed over the course of these three classes. The teacher also took some time to acknowledge and express to the girls how proud she is of their efforts to obey the Word, present themselves modestly and virtuously before others, and live a life that s pleasing to the Lord for this is how we can express our love for our Saviour. Sadly, this was the last class of the season. The students were encouraged to continue through the summer to listen to the tapes, take the tape quizzes, and to spend more time in prayer with the Lord. Included on their handout was an area designated to list some things they wanted to pray about over the summer. When the students come back, we expect to hear some good testimonies about how the Lord has answered each prayer and met each need! a3

Quote Part 1: Now, when a woman goes to cut out a pattern for a skirt, you talk about it. She lays the goods out (Is that right?), the piece of goods. And she lays her pattern down on this. She does the fixing where the pattern s to be cut. Right? O brother, this really do you good. Who does the electing? God does the electing. Is that right? It s not me to say; it s Him to say. And He places the pattern over who He will. Is that right? Rev. William Marrion Branham 53-0729 Questions And Answers On Genesis Quote Part 3: He said, Sir, I I can t pray. He said, I I have never prayed, but I had a praying mother and father, which is done gone on to heaven. And said, Mother, I she died when I was such a little boy, but I remember hearing her, when she was in trouble, she went to the Lord and she prayed. And she died when I was so young; she couldn t teach me to pray, and I have been given into the hands of an unkind person who beats me and mistreats me. And I I was thought maybe after I had learned my abc s, if I could take all the the words and say all the letters, maybe He could put it together and understand what I meant. Rev. William Marrion Branham 57-0120M The Impersonation Of Christianity a4 Quote Part 2: Call ten thousand Angels, when one could have destroyed the world, but He died for you and me. That s something like the basis that I want to have my message for Sunday morning, if the Lord willing, on What was Christ? And now we re expecting maybe these little girls could sing that song again for us, Sunday morning. Brother Wheeler, I certainly want to say that you sure got two fine little ladies there, and their dressing, and no makeup and everything. They look like Christians to me, and sing like it and act like it. That s very fine. I believe I was saying to my wife the other day, we have certainly a clean-looking bunch of women around here. I appreciate that. Their long hair and clean faces, and dressed decently. I--I--I admire you every time that I--I come in. I said to Meda, I d like to get them all in a row sometime and take their picture so I can show other churches the way our church is here. That, we speak these things, they--they obey. And we re glad. It does something for us. We know that when we-- we have our petitions, if our heart condemns us not, we know that God hears us. Rev.
