FOR YOUR DAILY PRAYERS Monday 28 Jan Tuesday 29 Wednesday 30 Thursday 31 Friday 1 Feb Saturday 2 As our celebrations for the birth of the Christ Child fade into the distance, we pray for all new parents facing the challenge of raising a new life. We give thanks for the creative gifts of those who communicate through writing and music and so increase the richness of all our lives. We pray for the life of this country as the government continues to twist and turn in its efforts to find a solution to Brexit that is acceptable to all sides. We pray for our city, for those working in the retail trade and fearful of redundancy as life on the High Street changes. We pray for all our clergy. Help us to be mindful of their many responsibilities, spiritual, administrative and civil. We pray for those we know who are going through times of trouble, perhaps in our families or in our wider circle of friends. Help us always to be aware of those around us.
