FOR YOUR DAILY PRAYERS Monday 21 Jan Tuesday 22 Wednesday 23 Thursday 24 Friday 25 Saturday 26 In this week of prayer for Christian Unity we pray for God s blessing on those who work for justice and freedom of religion, both here and overseas. Help us to speak out wherever and whenever we can. We pray for all medical staff everywhere as they carry the burden of correct diagnosis and treatment. Give them the courage to face each day as they work to bring help, hope, support and healing to sick people and their carers. We pray for all facing debt who are now receiving demands for payment, that they may be helped to find ways to manage. We pray for all staff and volunteers who support those with debt or redundancy, that they may show wisdom and sensitivity in their efforts. We pray for those who work with children, and all those who support them in any way. Help us to realise the importance to our future - that we encourage good, and turn away from negative influences. We pray for all our friends and neighbours, and we ask for the opportunity for little acts of kindness, or a smile to ease the relationships in our community. Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers. Thank you that we can bring to you everything we do. Please help us to rely on your strength rather than our own, and to realise that we are not called to travel through life alone.
