Larry Klayman http://ww.larryklayman.com/ has been retained and we must carry the burden of the costs of the traveling expenses and legal fees associated with proving Schaeffer's innocence. Now is not the time to stand idly by. His life has been in danger and still is the longer he held in the Federal Communication Management Unit located in Indiana. To finally see some progress being made on my case has really lifted my spirits, despite recent events. One of my friends was murdered by an ISIS terrorist right here in the unit, and in the same attack another friend of mine was stabbed a dozen times but survived. It was an ugly mess. But I'm under the gun and can't talk about it right now. Maybe someday I can fill you in.
I'm trying to recover my strength. It's been pretty rough around her for the past few months. Back in November when this happened and it all hit the fan, the whole unit got locked down for over a month straight. This means that we were all locked in our cells alone for that whole time. The guards just came by and slipped food through a little slot in the heavy steel door. Then, just about the time they let the unit off lock down, they threw me in the hole for an additional month of solitary confinement. This was obviously to keep me from talking about the attack that got us locked down. So I better just leave it at that. I've done time in the hole at 13 different places, but this one tops them all. This is an absolutely brutal unit. International watchdog groups have it in the top ten worst places on earth for human rights violations. It's ahead of places like Iran and North Korea. This unit runs very similar to the way the Secret Police in Brazil operated back in the 80s and 90s. Maybe when I'm out of prison and free to talk about it I'll elaborate more. Or maybe I'll just want to forget this experience and never think of or speak of it again. For now, I'm just trying to hold fast to my honor and not break weak. Pray for me. You know, my little daughter, Bri, was only 3 weeks old when the Secret Police came for me. I was ripped away from my family and never saw her again for many years. She will turn 8 next month. She absolutely adores me. She talks about her daddy constantly. But to her, I'm mostly just an imaginary idea. A father is something she's heard about from her big brother, but never known herself. In all this time, I have been allowed one single visit with my children. That was in August of 2016. Shortly after the visit, a filmmaker contacted me out of the blue about making a movie about my life. The FBI and the prison went nuts! They told me I could not talk to the filmmaker, or tell my story, and that now I was going back to the secret black-site prison, where I'd never get another visit with my kids again. It's against the law for them to do this. And they know it. But it's just brute force corruption. So here I sit. When corrupt bureaucrats use their power to vandalize humanity, it's really ugly. But when you have to see the immediate effects on your own little children, it's heartbreaking. My little girl came to see me one time. She got a hug from her daddy for
once in her life. Then the next time she wanted to come see me, I had to tell her that she couldn't. How do you explain to a 5 year-old little girl that she's not allowed to see her father because some corrupt Deep State bureaucrats say she can't? How do you comfort that child? If you were on the outside with her, what would you tell her? This evil runs me out of words. We are pushing hard for a presidential pardon. Attorney and founder of Judicial Watch, Larry Klayman, is working his channels to try to get my story in front of Trump, who he thinks will likely pardon me if he sees what's been done to me. Klayman came out and visited me here in the prison during the lock down. We sat in a freezing cold room that was about 25 degrees Fahrenheit, and talked for nearly 5 hours. He'd gone over my whole case and said that what the Deep State and this secret prison has done to me makes the other cases he's seen "look like a warm up act." I don't know if that should make me feel better or worse. I just hope it all comes to light soon. At the moment, Klayman has filed a FOIA lawsuit on my behalf in Washington D.C. and he has taken over the FOIA suits I had filed on my own. He's consolidating those two lawsuits into one. And here's the luckiest break of all: The judge in D.C. that our FOIA cases got randomly assigned to is judge Emmet G. Sullivan. That's the same judge that conducted the 2012 trial of my pro-gun Republican US Senator, Ted Stevens, who was railroaded by the same corrupt prosecutor who railroaded me. When Judge Sullivan found out that the prosecutors had been hiding evidence in the Stevens case, he got so mad that he actually appointed a special prosecutor to prosecute the prosecutors!! So while these same prosecutors (Joe Bottini, Nick Marsh, and Steve Skrocki), where being dragged in front of judge Sullivan on their knees to explain why they were cheating and hiding evidence and railroading innocent people, they were continuing to do the same exact kind of stuff to me. In the morning they were in one court answering for their crimes in the Stevens case, and in the afternoon they were in another court committing similar crimes in my case! These crooks just can't stop being crooks! When Judge Sullivan announced that he was having these prosecutors prosecuted, Nick Marsh committed suicide. But the other two prosecutors, Bottini and Skrocki, went the opposite direction and doubled down on their corruption, and pulled out all the stops on my case.
It was literally on the same front page of the Anchorage Daily News, at the same time, in two different stories: On one side of the front page was the story "Anchorage Federal Prosecutors Face Disciplinary Action For Hiding Evidence and Cheating to Convict Innocent People." On the other side was the story "Anchorage Federal Prosecutors Say Schaeffer Cox Is A Giant Boogie Man." This was in May or June of 2012. If someone could locate an archived copy of that newspaper, it is pretty incredible. It's almost funny. It would be if it wasn't for the damage being done to the innocent. Larry Klayman is the best FOIA attorney in the whole country. And he's really helping us dig up the truth that the prosecutors buried. I can see where this is headed; it's going to be embarrassing for the prosecutors and vindicating for me. Just in the few documents we have gotten so far from the FOIA suits we have found: ~ An email from the ATF to the FBI saying that they inspected all my guns and "none of them are illegal or prohibited." This is true, and it contradicts the lies the prosecutors told the jury. ~ An email from an FBI agent to another FBI agent saying that the higher ups at DoJ said they didn't see a viable case against me for conspiracy or solicitation to murder, and that the prosecutors did NOT have permission to try to indict me on those charges. Okay, so what happened then? Did Skrocki and Bottini just go rogue and do it any way? ~ An email from an Anchorage FBI agent to this secret prison saying that they had concerns about me winning my direct appeal, and discussing what they can do to "take care of it." In other words, asking how can they sabotage my right to due process? ~ An Anchorage FBI agent's written report documenting that informant Terry Dodd from Colorado has infiltrated my support group and will do all he can to prevent me from lawyering up. All these documents are heavily redacted. Meaning that before the FBI releases them to us under FOIA, they go through them with a black marker and block out anything they don't want us to see. And these documents are just the ones we got because they accidentally fell through the cracks. God-only-knows what's on the documents they withheld completely. Don't you want to see what they are purposefully hiding? I sure do! Larry Klayman can help us get it!!
These Deep State gangsters know they did wrong. And they don't want the world to see it. They are like a spooked cat frantically trying to bury its own crap. They know that as a political prisoner in their clutches, I am basically helpless to get them to unredact the documents. But they also know that if Larry Klayman goes to Judge Sullivan and shows him all this cheating and corruption, Sullivan will most likely lose patience, demand to see the unredacted documents himself, and then hand them over to me and Klayman. At which point the house of cards will fall, I'll be totally vindicated, and I'll walk out of this secret prison a free man. Thanks in large part to YOU! But we need to keep Larry Klayman working.
