Summer of Hope 2019 Would you consider offering a child a once in a lifetime opportunity this summer? The Summer of Hope program allows families the opportunity to host a child from an orphanage in the Philippines or Columbia for one month this summer in hopes of helping that child connect with an adoptive family. The children are usually between the ages of 8-14 years old. Gillette, Wyoming will be hosting the program this summer and has invited Sheridan families to participate. If you are interested in more information about becoming a host family or about the program please contact: Amber Van Dyke (307)461-0132 amber@hopeadoptionswy.com

Global Partners Prayer Requests To make Christ known in Sheridan and beyond to the ends of the world Partners in East Africa Our global partners are preparing to return to the States for a 9 month home assignment. Continue to pray for their future as visa issues remain unresolved, making a return to East Africa uncertain. Pray that God directs and leads them to their next assignment. Pray for their children in the midst of this transition as well as peace for the family. Pray for a Hxndu girl who recently chose to follow Jesus and a high school boy that our partners have been discipling. Becky and Shane Rosty Baptist Student Ministries (BCM) at Sheridan College Praise God for encouraging visits from students who have left Sheridan College who continue to follow Jesus! Pray for BCM mission trip to Mexico, specifically that two full time faculty would be willing to go along so that the trip could be officially sanctioned by the school. CB Johnson Christian School in East Asia Pray that God would bring new teachers for the January term and perhaps a team of construction workers to help with infrastructure needs. Praise God for many recent preaching opportunities and another upcoming opportunity at a tribal church conference. Pray for CB s teenage children as they continue to grow and mature. Rocky and Sylvia Engel Church Planting in Venezuela with WorldVenture Praise God for the Christmas in Venezuela project! Children s gifts were distributed to the hospital, a street ministry and a sister church outside the city. Many parents said they had no hope of getting anything for their children and expressed thanks for caring for them. Many children heard the good news as a result of these gifts. Continue to pray that these seeds take root. John and Dee Cook -Indigenous Ministries (IM) Continue to pray for outreach efforts to Syrian refugees in Northern Iraq including food distribution, Bible studies, and child sponsorship. IM also held a Pastor s conference and two women s meetings in the area recently. Pray for efforts in the Philippines including the recent completion of a school addition and a rapidly growing house church in need of a permanent building.

Please RSVP for reservations and childcare to the office 674-6693 by February 13 before 4PM.
