Not only senseless, but indeed very incorrect.i found "Through the Window of Life" to be a wonderfully upbeat book about the days leading up to the
second coming. Powerful lessons are taught of faith, hope, the power and indeed, life-saving skill of sharing. Indeed, as the brethren have beseeched us from the pulpit to develop spiritual gifts, so to does Suzanne's experience help us to understand that we must master the spiritual gift of prayer and the spiritual gift of listening if we hope to survive, and even triumph over the trials which await us.i can, without hesitation, recommend this book to any who wish to prepare for the last days. "Through the Window of Life" is a must have for every LDS library, even every library of every human being across the face of the planet. This is not your typical near death story. The author has another book - Led By The Hand Of Christ - that tells her initial experience. This follow up book is what Christ showed her. The book is nothing like I've ever read, giving one pause to think of what can happen to our society if we don't become a kinder people. I've read others who share their near death experience and portray a not so pleasant future but this provides more details. I would add as she told the story, I could go to the book of Revelation in the Bible and find much of what she describes in that book, only this would be in modern day understanding as John did not live in a time when there was our modern day conveniences and he had to write that book using his day's frame of reference.this was a quick read. I circulated it through all my married kids and they found it of value to read and ponder. Thumbs up on this book. This book is a continuation of the first, "Led By The Hand Of Christ". She mentions the white room briefly where this story begins. The first book is about heavenly wonders and people there. "Windows" brings us back into mortality with a vision of future events now at our doorstep.written like a novel, this book captivated me even more than the first. The similarities between her experiences and ones I have read for years was uncanny. There's simply too much truth to discount. My 3rd Great Grandmother had a dream in the 1830s describing a destroying angel nearly identical to Suzanne's. If this is fiction then I'll be fooled!how powerful are words which can inspire, and prepare one for calamities predicted for decades. Store up provisions, share what you have, do not become attached to possessions... these are themes which will make you a better person and could save lives as well.i loved the part of the return of the Ten Tribes with there protecting influence and technology. Also everyone that loves God and thirsts for peace are allowed into this new city - irregardless of religious belief.anyone who reads this book will seriously consider whats written. There is valuable information whether you believe it or not. God is no respecter of persons. This book is a keeper. Read and enjoy.
This is a quick read that I found very interesting and enjoyable. It really makes you think about the last days of our earth life, and what is most important to you. It also helped me understand why God allows us to go through tough times; they bring out our true nature. Under stressful times will we be selfish or show Christ-like qualities. Plus I learned little things like: using a pressure cooker while camping. I would never have thought of burying a pressure cooker in a pit with coals to cook tough meat or beans. I would recommend this book. If you want a book to clarify some of the things you've heard about the last days, by putting them in a chronological story, then you will be delighted with this book.i know some people hesitate to read things not put out officially by the Church, but I felt the Holy Ghost and a great sense of peace when I read it.i've studied many quotes from church memberes and prophets over the years and of course, studied the scriptures and this book is consistent with what I already know. It is not a complete description, covering everything going on with the church, but more information in some areas than I've heard elsewhere.if you are wanting a doctrinal detailed thesis-type book, then this isn't the one for you. But if you want to find hope in the typically scary period of the last days, you will find it here. I definitely left the book with the feeling "I can do this!"i rated the book based on these good points, but I do wish there could be even more visual descriptions in the book and possibly scriptural references to help further study.thanks for publishing this book! I am tied between passing it on for others to read it and keeping it for me to read again later (which I know I will do.) And it's a short read.
