To fulfill our mission of Catholic education, SFdN School depends on assistance from generous donations of our community members. The following Wish List items are equally needed and appreciated. Lenten Soup & Study A Conversation About Prayer Join Rev. Andrew Pavlak in a 4-part conversation and presentation on prayer. We will begin each session with soup and fellowship, and transition into discussion. This is an ideal opportunity to gather as a community in fellowship and formation. Schedule Monday, March 13, 2017 Monday, March 20, 2017 Monday, March 27, 2017 Monday, April 3, 2017 Times: Soup and fellowship will be served at 5:30 pm Study will begin at 6:00 pm. Location: Moreno Hall St Vincent de Paul -what we do and how you help- Many of you know we help the needy but how do we do this? When we receive the name of a person within our church boundaries requesting help, we send two St. Vincent de Paul volunteers to make a home visit. The poor and needy do live among us but we sometimes don t see them. Help is usually needed for utilities, rent, food, or necessary household items. We listen and determine how we can help financially, through other sources, or spiritually and we take time to pray with those we visit. We believe that we all grow spiritually when we help others. Help with their bills is provided by using the money you so generously give us through your monthly donations to support this ministry. There is a strict accounting of how this money is used. We thank you for providing the resources for this ministry and ask for your continuing support. 2016 was a year of need that exceeded our resources and we asked and received financial help from other parishes in the archdiocese. The number to call if you know of someone needing help is 346-1500. We need and welcome new members. We meet on the 2 nd Tuesday of each month from 5:30-6:30pm in Moreno Hall. Please come and join us. Lenten Penance Service Our annual San Felipe Lenten Penance Service will take place on Tuesday March 28th at 7:00pm. There will be 7 priests available for Confession. You will be escorted to the confessional in the order that you arrive at church.
