LOVING GOD AND NEIGHBOR MARCH 2017 The Presbyterian Spirit Parenting Class Parents meet each week on Sundays at 9:30am in the Youth room. Join us as we follow the book and DVD, Sticky Faith. First Presbyterian Church of Owasso SUNDAY SCHEDULE Sticky Faith is a guide that presents a powerful strategy to show parents how to actively encourage their children s spiritual growth so that it will stick with them into adulthood and empower them to develop a living, lasting faith. Adult Sunday School Class 9:30am 10:00am 10:30am Celebration Music Parenting Class Adult Class Coffee & Fellowship Worship Sundays at 9:30am Denominations from evangelical to mainline continue to experience deep divisions over universal social issues. We are sponsoring the Youth Café! The Youth Café meets every day after school from 2:30-4:00pm. We offer free wifi, snacks, and games! We are still in need of volunteers to help on Wednesdays. You can drop your box tops and labels in the containers, located in the north hallway. Winter Jam Concert Sunday, April 2nd at 4:00pm Youth, join us for Winter Jam! It s $10 at the door for the concert (BOK center); doors open at 5pm, concert starts at 6pm. See Mary Frances for more details! VBS Twilight! For ages 4 years 5 th grade Wednesdays from 6:00 7:30pm (No VBST March 15th) Come and join us for a light supper, games and a Bible Study! Parents, please sign up in the foyer to bring a light meal! (We can reimburse you!) Youth Group Youth from 6 12 th grade Wednesdays from 6:00 7:30pm (No Youth March 15th) Join us for dinner, a Bible Study, and art projects! Dwight Mission Summer Camp Preview Night For Parents, Kids & Youth! Wednesday, March 22nd at 6pm Are you interested in attending a GREAT summer camp, the same week as your friends at FPCO? Come learn about Dwight Mission from their staff! They will give us a sample camp night. We hope to have FPCO kids/youth attend Dwight June 11-17th! The church will have scholarships of $200 for everyone interested, and early registration is $350 and ends March 31st! (It s $400 after that.) The Wemmicks Sunday, March 26th will be a performance of "The Wemmicks" (wooden people) based on Max Lucado's children's book "You Are Special". All Wemmicks need to wear, mismatching clothes and socks with bright red painted round circles on their cheeks. We need Wemmicks with: False exaggerated noses, large eyes (painted, glittery eyes), hats, coats (light jackets)! The idea is to be as bright and imaginative and wildly exaggerated as possible!

Dwight Mission Summer Camp Preview Night Wednesday, March 22nd from 6:00-7:30pm is Dwight Mission Summer Camp "Preview Night". Some of the camp staff will be coming and giving us a demonstration of camp activities (kids and youth) and will be here to answer parent's questions. We hope to have parents, kids and youth attend! The camp we hope to attend is June 11-17th. The church will have scholarships of $200 for everyone interested in going and early registration is $350 (if you register before April 1st).
