In today s gospel, Christ promises that the disciple who gives a cup of cold water to the little ones serves Christ himself. From worship we are sent on our baptismal mission: to serve the little ones of this world and to be a sign of God s merciful welcome. ...our reach The Great Thanksgiving is when we lift our hearts in thanksgiving to a good and generous God. All are welcome to commune at St. John s. If your child does not yet commune, you are welcome to bring them forward to receive a blessing from Pastor Mark. Communion will be served from the kneelers at the front of the sanctuary. Ushers will direct you forward for distribution. You will receive the host to eat and then wine (red) or juice (white) from an individual communion cup. Gluten-free wafers are available.
