Overlook Presbyterian Church is a family of believers who have been called together to worship God and serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. In 2013, Overlook joined A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, or ECO. We believe in the Sovereignty of God and the Authority of His Scripture. Our denomination adheres to the principles of Reformed theology and is governed by Presbyterian polity. We view the Church as a living organism that needs life-giving resources to help it grow, thrive, and multiply. As an ECO church, we are committed to cultivating a healthy, diverse, resource-rich ecosystem where pastors and congregations can flourish. We are, therefore, passionate about - and dedicated to - strengthening these ecosystems through a myriad of missionbased ministries and outreach programs.

Overlook Presbyterian Church is located in Mobile, Alabama. We are a port city that sits on the Mobile River, at the head of Mobile Bay...which feeds into the Gulf of Mexico. Mobile s current population is around 200,000 (within the city s limits), and home to 3 major colleges - the University of South Alabama, The University of Mobile, and Springhill College. Mobile was founded 300 years ago, and is rich in culture and tradition. Our City of Six Flags reflects French, Spanish, and British influences, as well as the history-rich Republic of Alabama, the Confederal States of America, and the US flag. Due to our deep water access, manufacturing, transportation, and maritime industries are important components of our economy, as are several developing aerospace industries. Mobile Bay is the only place in the United States where jubilees consistently occur (worth a quick GOOGLE search!), and we are the birthplace of Mardi Gras - despite what some Louisiana natives may claim. Let the good times roll!
