Arlington News and Events Widows Fellowship Ladies, Join us for lunch at The Chopped Panini (near Harris Teeter) Wednesday, January 30th at 12 noon. Bring ideas for upcoming meetings. Hope to see you all there. Sr. Adults Valentines Party/Dinner February 16th at 5:30pm in the Ministry Center hosted by our Youth. A Menu of Lasagna, salad, bread and desserts. Coffee, tea and water will be served. There is a sign-up sheet on the Sr. Adult bulletin board. Deadline to sign-up is February 3rd. Your Choice Resource Center Celebrate Life Banquet is Thursday February 28th at 6:30pm at Englewood Baptist Church. See Elaine Henry if interested in attending. Throw on your camera strap and buckle your seatbelt for amazing encounters with Jesus. In The Wild VBS 2019 takes us on a wild adventure with elephants, and egrets, polar bears and penguins, cockatoos and crocodiles. As we seek out exotic animals, we ll also find snapshots of real-life encounters with Jesus in Scripture. Kids will go from bewildered to believing as they get In The Wild! Mark your calendars for this year s VBS, Sunday, June 23rd through Thursday, June 27th. More details to come!

Arlington News and Events contd. Church Family The American Red Cross is currently facing a blood emergency! Donors are desperately needed now so blood can be available for patients during this critical time. Medical conditions and emergencies that require blood don t stop during these times of shortage. We will be having a Blood Drive on February 18th from 2:00 to 6:00pm in the Ministry Center. We need Volunteers to help with the check-in table and the snack station, and lots of Donors!! If you are interested in helping or donating there is a sign-up sheet on the main bulletin board by the FH, or call the church office. January W.O.M. Notes Study Serving Christ in Crossroads of America Missionaries in Indianapolis Barry & Amy Ranger January 20th Sanctity of Life Sunday Reminder: The better we know God, the better we know our purpose Walk and Stretch Group Church family we have a Walk & Stretch group on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am here at the church. Youth and Children Events Youth and Children Super Bowl party on February 3rd at 6:00pm here at the church. Winter Jam March 22nd at PNC Arena in Raleigh. Cost is $15.00 to attend. There is a sign-up sheet on the Youth bulletin board. M-Fuge Trip The youth will be going to M-Fuge in July. Cost of the trip is $150.00. Deposit of $60.00 is due by February 10th.
