The Kenyons Gerritt & Tara, Malachi & Titus November 2013 Your Missionaries to the Youth Culture of Panama We ve had a busy fall! LATIN AMERICA & CARIBBEAN CONSULTATION ON! ABUSE & EXPLOITATION! Sharing the vision of El Refuge Tara had the privilege of traveling to Costa Rica in October to participate in the first consultation for abuse & exploitation in our geographical region. This was an exciting opportunity to network with other missionaries that are reaching those who are often marginalized by society and sometimes, even the church. She returned encouraged and affirmed that we are exactly where God wants us doing exactly what He would have us do. Please pray as we continue to build our ministry in reaching girls who have been abused and exploited. PANAMA NATIONAL YOUTH CAMP & CONVENTION! This past weekend we were pleased to finally be asked to play some very fun roles in hosting the Panamanian students at their annual Youth Camp. Gerritt was ecstatic to take all of his lighting gear to help with the production elements of the camp. This meant long hours of very sweaty work but he was completely content to be in his element, using tech to bless students. He had an awesome Panamanian team to help with all the heavy-lifting! Of course, he was also able to speak into lives!!! Gerritt praying for Tara was asked to present a plenary about Everything Against Youth students at the altar in which she was able to call out the obstacles that young people face and give biblical tools to overcome. Over 700 students received the teaching and we pray that the tools they added will be useful in their lives and struggles. Please continue to pray for these students with us as we challenge them to participate in what God is doing amongst their peers here in Panama!
