Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a good Lent. Easter will be there in a few weeks! Because of our new home, SJDC s schedule for the Holy Week is different this year. Please look for the schedule somewhere in this newsletter. As in the past, the Deaf Catholics are invited to attend Chrism Mass at the cathedral on March 24 at 11 AM. It is very important that we have many deaf people there. That way, the Archbishop and other leaders of the Archdiocese will see the importance of supporting the Deaf Ministry. We will have an interpreter to interpret the Mass and I plan to be there as well. Once again, I would be grateful to have any old pictures of Deaf gatherings at SJDC/OLL. We want to hang old pictures in the hallway at St. John s Deaf for everyone to see and enjoy. If you want the pictures to be returned then we can easily scan them. We will then return the original copies to you. Detroit Deaf Catholic community is very fortunate to have a rich history, and I am thankful to be part of this community. God bless. Fr.
