The Last Battle "Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. (Dan. 12:1) Michael: The Angelic Prince of Israel. A time of distress: The Great Tribulation = the Last 3 ½ Years of the 7-year Tribulation (Daniel s 70th Week). Written in the book: The Elect among the Physical Israelites; Chosen Not Only for the Visible Kingdom, but also for Eternal Life as the Church; Written in the Book of Life. Rescued: Delivered from the Persecution of the Antichrist; Physically Live through the Tribulation; Live into the Millennium.

The Dual Resurrection 2 "Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. (Dan. 12:2 NAU) Sleep in the dust: Dead Awake: Be Alive, Resurrected from the Dead, with a Body. To everlasting life: Having the Right Standing before God, Having a Body Ready for Heaven (New Heaven, New Earth). To disgrace and everlasting contempt: Having a Body Ready for Hell (the Lake of Fire). Many: Implying All ( All the Nations = Many People in Isa 2:2-3), Emphasizing Large Number. The 2 Kinds of Resurrection May Not Be at the Same Time.

The Dual Resurrection From NT Teaching: The Resurrection of the Church (NT Saints) Is at the Time of the Rapture, Earlier by a Moment: 13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thess. 4:13-18 NAU)

The Dual Resurrection The Resurrection of the OT Saints Should Be at the End of the Tribulation, Together with the Tribulation Saints. Tribulation Is the 70th Week of Daniel, the Last Period of OT Times, Reserved for the End Time. OT Saints Are the Guests at the Wedding of the Lamb with His Bride (the Church). The Last Became the First, and Vice Versa. The Wedding of the Lamb Is at the End of the Tribulation, after the NT Saints Have Received Their Reward at the Judgment Seat of Christ, Held throughout the Tribulation, in the Air. The Resurrection of the Unredeemed Is at the End of the Millennium, the Great White Throne Judgment. Those Who Die during the Millennium Are Cursed (Isa 65:20). Normal Millennial Saints Live through the 1000 Years.

Resurrection in OT Job, Writing in c.1500 B.C., Believed in Resurrection: 25 "As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth. 26 "Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God; (Job 19:25-26) David, Writing in c.1000 B.C., Believed in Resurrection: 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will dwell securely. 10 For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. (Ps. 16:9-10) Hosea, Writing in c.750 B.C., Believed in Resurrection: 4 Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from death? O Death, where are your thorns? O Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion will be hidden from My sight. (Hos. 13:14)

Resurrection in OT Isaiah, Writing in c.700 B.C., Believed in Resurrection: 19 Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. (Isa. 26:19) Isaiah Also Mentioned the Resurrection of the Wicked: 24 "Then they will go forth and look On the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm will not die And their fire will not be quenched; And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind." (Isa. 66:24)

The Reward in Heaven 3 "Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. (Dan. 12:3 NAU) Have insight: Know God Personally, and Understand His Plan Deeply, by Having Close Relationship with the Holy Spirit. Lead the many to righteousness: Love the Souls, Put Understanding into Action, Evangelize as a Way of Life. like the brightness of the expanse of heaven like the stars forever and ever: Awarded with Everlasting Glory. Heaven Is Not All Equal. The Saved Saints Have Different Degrees of Glory or Crowns, as the Stars Having Degrees of Brightness. Salvation Is Based on Faith Alone; Reward Is Based on Works.

Sealing the Prophecy 4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase." (Dan. 12:4 NAU) Conceal these words: Shut in Your Mouth; Keep in Your Heart; Meditate in Your Mind; Leave It to the LORD. Seal up the book: Preserve for the People Who Live Near the Time of the Fulfillment, for the Full Understanding Will Not Be Revealed until Then, and It Could Only Be Understood with Reference to This Book. The end of time: Jesus Came in the Fullness of Time (Gal 4:4). His1st Advent Inaugurated the End Time, and It Lasts till His 2nd Coming.

Sealing the Prophecy Many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase: It Could Mean that the Full Understanding of the Prophecies in Daniel Would Not Come Until the Modern Time, When Travel Becomes Easy and Frequent, When Knowledge of All Kinds Increase, Including Science and History, Which Would Help in Understanding the Prophecy. It Is True that the Dispensational Premillennial Understanding of the Prophecies Did Not Come until the 19th Century (John Nelson Darby [1800-1882] of the Plymouth Brethren Movement). Early Church: Mainly Premillennial (Waiting for the Full Kingdom). Middle Church: Mainly Amillennial (Empire or Church = Kingdom). Modern Church: First Mainly Post-Millennial when All Seemed Good, Then Dispensational Premillennial When All Seemed Bad.

Sealing the Prophecy Many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase: It Could Be Referring to Amos 8:12: "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, But they will not find it. (Amos 8:12 NAU) Then It Is Sarcastic, Saying that People Will Go Back and Forth, Seeking for the Knowledge about Interpreting the Prophecy in Daniel, and Could Not Find It until after Its Realization. It Is True that Many False Christs Thought that They Might Be the Messiah in Daniel s 69 Week Prophecy, but Flailed: Maccabean- Hasmonian (2nd Cent. B.C.), Herod the Great (1st Cent. B.C.), Herod Agrippa I (A.D.40-43), the Zealots (A.D.66-73), Bar Kohkba (A.D.132-135), Shabbati Zevi (c.1666), Jacob Frank (c.1776)

Sealing the Prophecy In the Book of Revelation: The Secret of Interpreting Daniel s 70 Weeks Was Revealed: 3.5 Years = 42 Months = 1260 Days (Rev 11:3; 12:6, 14; 13:5). => 1 Prophetic Month = 30 Days; 1 Prophetic Year = 360 Days. => Jesus Christ Ascended (Was Cut-off ) Exactly on the 69th Week. God Told John to Seal the Seven Thunders, Probably due to Its Severe Content, God Told John Not To Seal the Revelation in the Book: And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. (Rev. 22:10 NAU) Expecting the Second Coming of Christ Is a Constant Desire of the Church.

The Divine Oath 5 Then I, Daniel, looked and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the river and the other on that bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be until the end of these wonders?" (Dan. 12:5-6) The River (Heb: ye or) Was Probably Tigress in 10:4, though in OT the River (Heb: hae or) Was Used Only for Nile (e.g. Gen 41:1,2,3,17,18; Exod 2:3,5; 4:9; 7:15,18,21,24,25,28; 17:5). The Two on the Two Sides of the River Were Probably Angels. A Good Suggestion Would Be Michael and Gabriel Who Appeared in Context. The One Who Stood on the Water Was the One Who Walked over the Water (Matt 14:22-33), the Pre-Incarnation Christ.

The Divine Oath 7 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed. (Dan. 12:7) Dressed in linen: Priestly Robe. Jesus Christ Is the Priest-King in the Order of Melchizedek (Heb 5:6; 7:11). Raised his right hand and his left toward heaven: Raising the Right Hand Is for Taking Oath; Raising Both Hands Means Solemnity. Swore by Him who lives forever: By the Name of Yahweh, the Eternal One.

The Divine Oath A time, times, and half a time: The Great Tribulation of 3.5 Prophetic Years (42 Months = 1260 Days). Shattering the power of the holy people: The Last Gentile Rule over Israel, When the Antichrist Demanded that the Jews Worship Him as God in the 3rd Temple He Authorized to Rebuild. The Antichrist Might Be of Jewish Descent, but Holds Gentile Power. The Holy People Means the Jews. They Are Holy in the Sense of Being Set Apart for God to Demonstrate His Glory. It Does Not Mean Moral, Spiritual, Even Intellectual Superiority, e.g. Aaron Made Golden Calf. All these events will be completed: The Second Coming of Christ, the End of the Antichrist, the Repentance of the Jews about Jesus Christ, the Beginning of the Full Kingdom of God.

The Rest by Faith 8 As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, "My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?" 9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. 10 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. (Dan. 12:8-10 NAU) Daniel Could Not Understand the Prophecy Fully. Christ Did Not Blame Him for Curiosity, but Told Him to Rest by Faith. The Wicked (Unbeliever) and the Righteous (Elect, Redeemed) Will All Play Out Their Roles Seemingly by Their Free Will. But All Will Come Out as Scripted by God.

One More Tip 11 "From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! (Dan. 12:11-12 NAU) In Addition to the 1260 Days of the Great Tribulation, after the Second Coming of Christ, It Will Be Great for People to Live through Two Additional Short Periods of Time, before They Enjoy the Millennial Full Kingdom of God: 30 More Days: Perhaps for Cleaning up the Dead during the Feast of God by Vultures (Rev 19) 45 More Days: Perhaps to Establish the Millennial Government in the World.

Be Faithful Personally 13 "But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age." (Dan. 12:13 NAU) Daniel Was Told to Be Faithful and Walk His Path with the LORD, and Leave the Result to God. We Should Do the Same.
