For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ s; and Christ is God s (I Corinthians 3:21-23). After my last partner letter, I thought it was necessary for me to write a bit more about the subject of Taking Ownership. As I said in the last letter, God gave this earth over to Adam and Eve and gave them...dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth (Genesis 1:26). The word dominion we said means to rule (ruler-ship), lordship (authority), stewardship (caretaker-ship), and ownership. Ownership or to own is defined as to have legal or rightful title to (Webster 1828 Dictionary). Adam and Eve were not only to govern the earth, but were given ownership of it. Nothing was to be permitted here without their consent. They were given the title deed to this planet. Through disobedience, they gave their dominion over the earth to Satan (high treason). And Satan became the god of this world, whose title he got from Adam (II Corinthians 4:4). All Things Are Yours Jesus came preaching, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15). The word repent has to do with changing your thinking or belief, to return to the original state. He began what I call operation clean-sweep, removing everything that offends people... every sickness, disease, infirmity, need, pain, poverty, and even death. He took charge or ownership every place He went (I John 3:8; Amplified). As I also said in my last letter, Where there is no revelation of ownership, there is no outrage. One man said it like this... When there is a revelation there is a revolution. doves (John 2:14-16). I truly believe if the Church had taken ownership of the earth then we would have never allowed prayer and Bibles to be taken out of our schools in America. According to Paul s writing in our opening text for this letter, he said, ALL THINGS are yours. Notice what he didn t say, All spiritual things are yours. No! He said, All things, period! From the surface to the core of this planet. All things include cars, houses, buildings, real estate, jewelry, precious metal, clothes, land, and even money. All things means everything without exception. This is Paul writing not only to the Church at Corinth, but to every person in the family of God. You could personalize this and say, All things are mine. Does this mean that you just go out and through greed or avarice grab a bunch of stuff and say,...this is mine, gimmie, it belongs to me? Absolutely not. It means that if there is anything good about it to help enhance our lives or advance the Kingdom, we have a right to it. Must See It, To Possess It Even though you have a right to it, until you can get the TITLE DEED or SEE IT, you are not entitled to possess it. In other words, the things that are yours must be more than just INFORMATION but it must be a REVELATION. Remember what God told Abraham?... Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever (Genesis 13:14-15). The New Testament says, Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses] (Hebrews 11:1; Amplified). Notice, faith is the title deed and the proof. Whenever we have proof of ownership (title deed), God will back us up, enforcing Satan s eviction notice. This happened with Joshua, he could SEE their victory over Jericho even though its walls were very great and naturally impossible to penetrate. God said, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour (Joshua 6:2). Until you see it, you are not entitled to possess it. In the New Testament blind Bartimaeus could see in his mind his sight restored and Jesus said, Go thy way; thy faith (proof) has made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight... (Mark 10:52). Remember this; whatever is revealed to you can be restored to you. Realize we didn t just inherit the good, but also the bad to make it good. Ownership makes the poverty problem our problem. The drug or addiction problem is our problem. The jobless problem or illiteracy is our problem. That s a part of our ownership and good stewardship requires us to fix it, in Jesus name. Thank God we are empowered with the Blessing and the divine wisdom of God that gives us a fix for every problem, even the impossible. So ownership is not about gimmie, it s about GIVING. Page 2

So here s the bottom line: This earth belongs to God and His family from the surface to the core. David writes, The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD s: but the earth has he given to the children of men. That s us, the children of God. It s our inheritance. I decree from this day, ALL THINGS shall begin to come into your hands! Possessing Your Possessions God spoke to Joshua saying, Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses (Joshua 1:3). This is the exact same scripture the Lord gave me to meditate when it was time for our church congregation to take ownership of a 33-acre shopping mall. One Sunday God spoke to me and said, Buy that mall. I had no idea it was even for sale. Through the process of biblical meditation on Joshua 1:3, it went from information to revelation. From my head to my heart... from, All things are theirs, to All things are mine. Biblical meditation is a God-given process that produces a spiritual experience which causes a permanent change in your thinking. By my meditating the Word of God it caused faith to come, the Title Deed. Then the Lord Himself began to supernaturally transferring this prime real estate into our hands. We took a property that was run down and vacant and transformed it to a thriving economic engine for the entire village adding over 400 jobs and millions of dollars in taxable sales revenue for the village and the State of Illinois. We re not begging we are blessing. That s OWNERSHIP! This same ownership mentality was taught to me by the Holy Ghost when we first started our ministry in the Chicago area. We started in what was one of the highest crime areas in Chicago. One day, as we were gathered in our small storefront church, a lady burst through the door in tears. She said that the drug dealers had taken over her street and the whole neighborhood was living in fear. Realize that the Church is the highest authority in the earth, and it s the most powerful institution in the world, ever. I told her to get in this circle and pray with us. She did and the Lord spoke to me to give her a bottle of our anointing oil and tell her to go and pour it down the middle of her street. She, without hesitation, obeyed and took the oil, or shall I say, Ownership. She went back to her neighborhood and poured the oil down the street of her block, and what happened next astonished her. The drug dealers came out for about one hour the next day and never came back... ever! Understand this demon-inspired operation had been going on for weeks from noon to midnight every day. But the moment she took ownership, God sent His supernatural army (angels) and cleaned that place up... without the local police. Ownership of Life or Death One last area I must cover is found in 1 Corinthians 3:21-22, For all things are yours life, or death. It says not only life is ours but death is ours. I think one can easily understand that life belongs to all the children of God. However, how does death belong to us? Page 3

Tradition has taught us that God is the author of death. That is not true. The Bible says, The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (I Corinthians 15:26). Death is not a friend. People have thought that God has a pegboard in the sky and just picks someone s name at any time and they fall dead, and that everyone has a set-time to die. That is not true! The Bible says,... it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). There is an appointment we have with death, but God does not randomly make the appointment nor is there a set time. The Bible promised us long life in Psalm 91:16, With long life will I satisfy him The children of Israel shortened their lives to 70 years old (approximately) because of disobedience in the wilderness (Psalm 90:9-10; Amplified). The Apostle Paul by the unction of the Holy Ghost said, it s all yours, life or death. So it is time for us, the children of God, to take OWNERSHIP. Not just over our lives and communities or businesses and families, but the world, bringing Heaven s government to bear wherever we are. We are not sub-heirs; we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. Start claiming your inheritance and get ready for a miraculous prophetic transfer! Why? Because All Things Are Yours.
