And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well-favored cows and fat; and they fed in a meadow. Genesis 41:40,41 You shall be over my house, and according to your word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than you. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt. Genesis 41:14a Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: Isaiah 56:1 Thus said the LORD, Keep you judgment, and do justice: for my salvation (Yeshua) is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown. Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 1Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Genesis 41:38,39 And Pharaoh said to his servants, "Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?" And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "For as much as God has showed you all this, there is none so discreet and wise as you are. Genesis 41:45a And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; Genesis 41:49,50 And Joseph gathered grain as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number. And to Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bore unto him. Genesis 41:51-53 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, has made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house. And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction. And the seven years of plenty, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended. Genesis 42:3-5 Joseph s ten brothers went down to buy grain from Egypt. But Jacob didn t send Benjamin, Joseph s brother, with his brothers; for he said, Lest perhaps harm happen to him. The sons of Israel came to buy among those who came, for the famine was in the land of Canaan. 2

Genesis 42:14-18 And Joseph said to them, That is it that I spoke to you, saying, You are spies: Hereby you shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh you shall not go forth hence, except your youngest brother come here. Send one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and you shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely you are spies. And he put them all together into ward three days. And Joseph said to them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God: Genesis 42:19-24 If you be true men, let one of your brothers be bound in the house of your prison: go you, carry corn for the famine of your houses: But bring your youngest brother to me; so shall your words be verified, and you shall not die. And they did so. And they said one to another, We are truly guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he sought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come on us. And Reuben answered them, saying, Spoke I not to you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and you would not hear? therefore, behold, also his blood is required. And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spoke to them by an interpreter. And he turned himself about from them, and wept; and returned to them again, and communed with them, and took from them Simeon, and bound him before their eyes. Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) to this day. Simeon is held back whose name means to hear. Genesis 42:27,28 And as one of them opened his sack to give his ass provender in the inn, he espied his money; for, behold, it was in his sack's mouth. And he said to his brothers, My money is restored; and, see, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were afraid, saying one to another, What is this that God has done to us? Genesis 42:37,38 And Reuben spoke to his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to you: deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him to you again. And he said, My son shall not go down with you; Genesis 43:8,9 And Judah said to Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and you, and also our little ones. I will be surety for him; of my hand shall you require him: if I bring him not to you, and set him before you, then let me bear the blame for ever: Genesis 44:1,2 And he commanded the steward of his house, saying, Fill the men's sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put every man's money in his sack's mouth. And put my cup, the silver cup, in the sack's mouth of the youngest, and his corn money. And he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken. Genesis 44:8-10 Behold, the money, which we found in our sacks' mouths, we brought again to you out of the land of 3

Canaan: how then should we steal out of your lord's house silver or gold? With whomsoever of your servants it be found, both let him die, and we also will be my lord's slaves. And he said, Now also let it be according to your words: he with whom it is found shall be my servant; and you shall be blameless. Genesis 31:19 And Laban went to shear his sheep. And Rachel had stolen the images which were her father's. Genesis 31:30-32 And now, though you would needs be gone, because you sore longed after your father's house, yet why have you stolen my gods? And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure you would take by force your daughters from me. With whomsoever you find your gods, let him not live: before our brothers discern you what is your with me, and take it to you. For Jacob knew not that Rachel had stolen them. Genesis 44:12,13a And he searched, and began at the oldest, and left at the youngest: and the cup was found in Benjamin's sack. Jeremiah 27:6-8 And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him. So all nations shall serve him and his son and his son s son, until the time of his land comes; and then many nations and great kings shall make him serve them. And it shall be, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation I will punish, says the Lord, with the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. Jeremiah 27:12,13 I also spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live! Jeremiah 27:16,17 Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says the Lord: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord s house will now shortly be brought back from Babylon ; for they prophesy a lie to you. Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live! Why should this city be laid waste? Jeremiah 27:18 But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, do not go to Babylon. Jeremiah 46:1-4 The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the nations. Against Egypt. Concerning the army of Pharaoh Necho, king of Egypt, which was by the River Euphrates in Carchemish, and which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: "Order the buckler and shield, And draw near to battle! Harness the horses, And mount up, you horsemen! Stand forth with your helmets, Polish the spears, Put on the armor! Jeremiah 46:10 For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, A day of vengeance, That He may avenge Himself on His adversaries. The sword shall devour; It shall be satiated and made drunk with their blood; For the Lord GOD of hosts has a sacrifice In the north country by the River Euphrates. Jeremiah 46:13-17 The word that the LORD spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon would come and strike the land of Egypt. "Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol; Proclaim in Noph and in Tahpanhes; Say, 'Stand fast and prepare yourselves, For the sword devours all around you.' Why are your valiant men swept away? They did not stand Because the LORD drove them away. He made many fall; Yes, one fell upon another. And they said, 'Arise! Let us go back to our own people And to the land of our nativity From the oppressing sword.' They cried there, 'Pharaoh, king of Egypt, is but a noise. He has passed by the appointed time!' Jeremiah 42:19-22 "The LORD has said concerning you, O remnant of Judah, 'Do not go to Egypt!' Know certainly that I have admonished you this day. "For you were hypocrites in your hearts when you sent me to the LORD your God, saying, 'Pray for us to the LORD our God, and according to all that the LORD your God says, so declare to us and we will do it.' "And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, or anything which He has sent you by me. "Now therefore, know certainly that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to dwell." Jeremiah 43:7-11 So they went to the land of Egypt, for they did not obey the voice of the LORD. And they went as far as Tahpanhes. Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying, "Take large stones in your hand, and hide them in the sight of the men of Judah, in the clay in the brick courtyard which is at the entrance to Pharaoh's 2

house in Tahpanhes; "and say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Behold, I will send and bring Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden. And he will spread his royal pavilion over them. "When he comes, he shall strike the land of Egypt and deliver to death those appointed for death, and to captivity those appointed for captivity, and to the sword those appointed for the sword. Jeremiah 46:19-21 O you daughter dwelling in Egypt, Prepare yourself to go into captivity! For Noph shall be waste and desolate, without inhabitant. "Egypt is a very pretty heifer, But destruction comes, it comes from the north. Also her mercenaries are in her midst like fat bulls, For they also are turned back, They have fled away together. They did not stand, For the day of their calamity had come upon them, The time of their punishment. Jeremiah 46:25-28 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, says: "Behold, I will bring punishment on Amon of No, and Pharaoh and Egypt, with their gods and their kings-pharaoh and those who trust in him. "And I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and the hand of his servants. Afterward it shall be inhabited as in the days of old," says the LORD. "But do not fear, O My servant Jacob, And do not be dismayed, O Israel! For behold, I will save you from afar, And your offspring from the land of their captivity; Jacob shall return, have rest and be at ease; No one shall make him afraid. Do not fear, O Jacob My servant," says the LORD, "For I am with you; For I will make a complete end of all the nations To which I have driven you, But I will not make a complete end of you. I will rightly correct you, For I will not leave you wholly unpunished." Jeremiah 47:1-4 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before Pharaoh attacked Gaza. Thus says the LORD: "Behold, waters rise out of the north, And shall be an overflowing flood; They shall overflow the land and all that is in it, The city and those who dwell within; Then the men shall cry, And all the inhabitants of the land shall wail. At the noise of the stamping hooves of his strong horses, At the rushing of his chariots, At the rumbling of his wheels, The fathers will not look back for their children, Lacking courage, Because of the day that comes to plunder all the Philistines, To cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper who remains; For the LORD shall plunder the Philistines, The remnant of the country of Caphtor. Jeremiah 2:4-6 Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob and all the families of the house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: What injustice have your fathers found in Me, That they have gone far from Me, Have followed idols, And have become idolaters? Neither did they say, Where is the Lord, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and pits, Through a land of drought and the shadow of death, Through a land that no one crossed And where no one dwelt? Jeremiah 2:8 The priests did not say, Where is the Lord? And those who handle the law did not know Me; The rulers also transgressed against Me; The prophets prophesied by Baal, And walked after things that do not profit. 3

Jeremiah 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:22,23 For though thou wash thee with nitre, (acid) and take thee much soap, (Alkali) yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD. How can you say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after the Baals? See your way in the valley; Know what you have done: You are a swift dromedary breaking loose in her ways, Jeremiah 2:26-28 As the thief is ashamed when he is found out, So is the house of Israel ashamed; They and their kings and their princes, and their priests and their prophets, Saying to a tree, You are my father, And to a stone, You gave birth to me. For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble They will say, Arise and save us. But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, If they can save you in the time of your trouble; For according to the number of your cities Are your gods, O Judah. Jeremiah 2:32 Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number. Jeremiah 2:35 Yet you say, 'Because I am innocent, Surely His anger shall turn from me.' Behold, I will plead My case against you, Because you say, 'I have not sinned.' John 9:41 Yeshua said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. 4
