In this Advent season, use the sacrament of Reconciliation to strengthen your relationship with Jesus. It s never too late. TITHING THE TITHE FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER - FRESH START It is through the grace of our Lord that our Parish receives so many blessings. We, as a parish, tithe to express our constant dependence on Him for everything. Tithing is the first 10% of one's income - 5% to the parish and 5% to other charities. Our first 5% goes to the diocese in assessments which we have been paying all along. The second 5% for the month of December will go to Fresh Start. Fresh Start, in partnership with LCCM, is the program we will be hosting, for the homeless from December 17th to December 28th. Please pray for our first responders and military men and women who are serving overseas, especially Wilbur Haines, grandson of Carolyn Boger. If you have a family member serving overseas, please let our parish family know through the parish office. The following parishioners, family members, and friends are ill. Please remember them and all the sick of the parish in your prayers: Agnes Bering, Bonnie Reiker, Vince Poloney, Bob Bonina, Marie Sprecher, Erik Arnold, Santiago Estevez, Barb Arnold, Rose Witmer, Beau Murphy, Bob Connor, Barry Weaver, Richard Wheeler, Katherine Gray, George Groff, Deborah Freer, David Kearns, G.H. Salazar, Helen Zengerle, Sam Shrefler and Joe DeFluri. Names will remain on the list for SIX weeks. Please call to have the name put back on list. EMOHC Lauren L. Nhien N. Lisa H. Julie W. Allan W.
