Opportunities for Service at Fernwood We have some service opportunities in our children department for next year that require our collective action. The most pressing need at the moment is a second teacher for our younger children (grades 1-3). This person would alternate months teaching the lessons; therefore, we need someone who will be willing to teach every other month. You may team with someone to do this job. We also have a need for a teacher of our preschoolers and a second person to stay with the babies. In addition, we have a need for six (6) people to help in Extended Session so that we can maintain our 7 group rotation. If you are willing to help in any of these roles for any period of time, please let me know soon. Clarence Batts

Update on Safety Issue from article below: We have learned that Claudio Autenzio and Russell Broome locked up and turned off the lights on Sunday after worship. So this had to have been done following Sunday. Just remember safety first. Safety We are asking for all church members to please check behind yourself when leaving the church facility. The week, we came into the building and until Wednesday we didn't realize that the Chapel doors were unlocked and also the lights were left on in the Chapel. Christie, our janitorial assistant went to clean the Chapel area on Wednesday and found this. Security is very important here and to assure that all of the staff and church members are safe, we need everyone to be aware and help with this matter. If you are not one of the ones which has a key, please call Angie at 978-7404 and she will find someone who has a key so that the building is secure. of Mrs. Lavinia Eldridge by her family.
