KG & Elementary Highlights Summer/Fall IS004 MLS ADE Gives Back Every year in school, our students find ways to give back to the community. This year was no different. Adding on to annual initiatives, the kids came up with innovative and creative ideas on how to collect money to donate to charity. From bake sales, to interactive games, from trampoline shows, to jewelry bazaars; the kids poured their hearts out in all the activities they designed and executed for their colleagues throughout the year. This generous and kind spirit of MLS giving back is only but one of the school pillars that we gave top priority to this trimester. Inside class during Character Building sessions and out, the kids learned and practiced Random Acts of Kindness. In the staffroom as well our teachers practiced the same, in a fun interactive game that encouraged a positive behavior and spread kindness all around. When our Egyptian football player Mohamed Salah was badly injured, the kids felt the need to contribute and share their messages of love and support and so they did as they were encouraged by our teachers to do so. Before the start of Ramadan the kids had also collected a generous amount of money to give back to our nannies and handymen, full Ramadan boxes to accommodate their needs during the holy month. In the spirit of kindness and love, our Lower Elementary students held their end of year shows in the school theater and our Upper Elementary kids celebrated their end of the year differently! Further news on each class found in the Newsletter.

School Events At school, we believe in the importance of celebrations and making memories. There are events that can t just pass by unnoticed, on the contrary they are so important and our kids enjoy very much. 100 Days of School In a fun day of activities and fun, our Kindergartners celebrated their first 100 days of school with their friends from the Lower Elementary and family at school. Kidzania Go! We had our friends from Kidzania Go visit us at school for a full day of games, challenges and edutainment fur for our Upper Elementary students. Autism Awareness We love the month of April because the spirit of the color blue takes over! In honor of Autism Awareness, our teachers have shown their full support.

School Trips Our school trips mix education and fun. They are designed to break the routine and package new experiences in exciting ways for our students as they offer exposure to culture, connection to nature, and and outlet to creativity and more. Billly Bees Sakkara Country Cub

Art Exhibition Highlights from the MLS annual Art Exhibition where we displayed the years work of our students in Art class with Mrs. Noha and Ms. Aya. Character Building - Acts of Kindness Our G3 and G4 students discussed in class with Mrs. Rabab and homeroom teachers, random acts of kindness. They wrote down situations and scenarios were kindness were displayed. As a surprise to the kids their work will be collected in a book titled "Chicken Soup Random Acts of Kindness" and will be added to the Elementary Library! It has been a year of kind and charitable activities; they have explored the positive effects that being kind entails on both the sender and the receiver in the Science of Kindness activity, they also worked together to collect money to donate to 57357 Hospital and distribute Ramadan boxes to our nannies and handymen.

Sports News Our MLS ADE Soccer Team had participated in a long year championship at school. The final match was between Egypt and France, guess who won the cup? KG2 Graduation A round of applause and hip hip hurray to our KG2 grads who are now all set and ready to move on to G1 and begin an exciting elementary adventure.
