Question and Answer Sermon January 27th Since many enjoy last year s Question and Answer sermon, I felt led to do another on January 27 th. However, unlike last year, you will have the opportunity to put more thought into your questions. So you were asked to take this week to think and write down your questions and submit them to me today. The questions should have come from your struggles about Biblical passages you do not understand, or your efforts to comprehend who God is and does, or your battle with living the life we are called to live. Hopefully you can give them to me at the end of the service RED CROSS BLOODMOBILE: URGENT NEEDS NOW! Our 2019 blood drives are scheduled as follows: March 22, August 16 and October 25. They are all Fridays, 2 7 PM. The Red Cross is experiencing a severe shortage at this time. If you are eligible now and donate by January 24, you will be eligible again for the March 22 drive. Please consider what you can do to help others. Three in One Everyday objects can serve as simple lessons about biblical truth. To illustrate the profound concept of the Trinity, for example, some teachers use an apple, an egg or a three-leaf clover. During winter, you can point to a kid-friendly snowman to describe how God is Three in One. The ball of snow on the base represents God the Father, our Creator and strong foundation. The middle ball, with stick arms reaching to the side, reminds us of Jesus, who died on the cross. And the snowman s head stands for the Holy Spirit, our everpresent Counselor who helps us and speaks God s truth to us.
