Kildysart Health Centre: The HSE have advised that Kildysart Health Centre will remain closed to the public from Mon., 13th Fri., 17th Nov, to facilitate essential repairs to the building. At a recent meeting the Committee has decided as a once off, to reduce the cost of graves, from 1st Sept. to 31st Dec. During this period the cost of a double grave will be 450, from 1st Jan. 2018. Missionvale: Davan, Lily and Molly, Transition Year students at St John Bosco C.C. would like to say a huge thank you to the parishioners of Kildysart and Coolmeen-Cranny for their generous support of their trip to Missionvale, South Africa. A total of 1,140 was collected. Clare Archaeological and Historical Society: The Holy Wells of Clare a talk by Michael Houlihan. This talk will give a brief history of sacred springs, an overview of Clare well types, a discussion on the protocol and customs at wells and a review of holy wells in the Ennis area. Lecture takes place on Tuesday, 14th November in the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, at 8 pm.
