Our Church office is open Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM & Friday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM 901 N. Kings Hwy 843-448-7164

NEEDS: Bleach, Pine-Sol, toilet paper, paper towels, cups, plates, 40 gal. (or larger) garbage bags, spiral notebooks, sugar, coffee, creamer, oatmeal, Texas Pete Hot Sauce FUMC Centennial Mission Moments Month of January, Snowbirds & Seagulls The Snowbirds/Seagull program began over thirty-five years ago. Its purpose was to help the winter visitors from the northern and mid-western states, plus our friends from Canada, connect with our members. It gave them the opportunity to join our retired members for worship, entertainment, and lunch. It remains a blessing to our church in attendance and giving. Condolences The pastors, staff and church family extend Christian sympathy on the recent death of Adelaide Blalock who passed on December 31, 2018 in Rockingham, NC. In preparation for The United Methodist Church's special General Conference in February about homosexuality, you are invited to a church-wide learning and listening session on Sunday, January 20th from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Wesley Fellowship Hall. Rev. Kathy James will update our church on what is being voted on at General Conference and how The UMC arrived where it is. There are about 20 members of this church who will then lead us in small-group conversations as we listen to one another and share how our experiences and theology have shaped our understandings. No matter what your opinions and beliefs are, it is important that you participate so that others might be transformed by your story and so that you might be transformed by theirs. Childcare will be provided. First Church Men! Have you made a New Year's Resolution to get healthier this year, to lose weight, or to just be a better you?
