The vision is to create a movement of churches encouraging their members to invite every person in America back to church. It began about 10 years ago and we here at St. Jude s have participated for the last 3 years. We have Your Belong Here pamphlets that will be available for you to take with you to hand out to family, friends and neighbors inviting them to join you at church. The best invitation is a personal one. Share with them your own why. Why do you go to church? What do you get out of your relationship with God and God s people? Share with them your own how. How is church more than a building? Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them. Our next meeting will be a lunch meeting at Beef O Brady s in Deltona on Sunday September 16 at noon. It is located at 2160 Howland Blvd. See ya there! Deacon Jim UNASHAMED Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10 THE LEAST OF THESE Well, summer, for some of us, has come and gone and we are back in school. It s good to be back on the clock, but I will miss fishing and traveling as I always do this time of year. Thank you all again who came through with clothes for teens. I have picked up many bags and boxes for clothing you have so generously donated to my clothing ministry at school. It wouldn t be a success without you!! Deacon Jim St. Jude s Youth group UNASHAMED would like to thank everyone for their generosity in helping us fundraise for our mission trip. We were able to raise all but $75 of the $ 1,329 we needed to go on this trip. Our trip was a huge success. The youth that went learned how to better serve others and made lots of new friends. They are looking forward to going on another trip next summer. We are in need of a new youth mom or dad to help us out on Wednesday nights. If you can give us one Wednesday night a month it would be greatly appreciated. You do not have to do anything but show up. There will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex. We also have our sign up sheet for volunteering to make us dinner. There s normally about 10 people. We meet from 5:30 to 8PM every Wednesday. We start our evening with a meal and then we do games and a lesson. Yours in Christ, Lora Huddlestun ECW The ladies Fall Yard Sale is scheduled for October 13 and 14. Keep your gently used items for donation until closer to the event. A date will be announced for drop off.
