A great Savant, Sri K M Munshi devoted his entire energy towards promoting value-based education, Dr. H R Bhardwaj, Governor of Karnataka has observed. The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan which he founded in 1939, is an eloquent testimony to this ardent devotion of his, he added. Dr. Bhardwaj was delivering a special lecture at Banquet Hall of Rajbhavan, Bangalore on Dr K M Munshi His Life and Message as part of his 125th birth anniversary celebrations. The function was organised by the Bangalore Kendra of Bhavan on December 30, 2012 his birthday. Bhavan's Bangalore Kendra Vice-Chairman Sri H.R. Ananth and Hon. Secretary Sri. K.G. Raghavan presenting a momento to Dr. H.R. Bhardwaj. 8

Dr.Bhardwaj confessed that he considered himself fortunate for having been associated with Sri Munshi when the latter had retired from public life to practice law. Earlier, Dr.Bhardwaj released Patanada Prabhutva, a Kannada translation of Sri Munshi s Gujrati novel Patan Ni Prabhuta. The work was translated by the late Sri Narayana Murthy and published by the Bangalore Centre.
